1. Aliens
2. The exorcist
3. Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark
My graduate school roommate had an uncle in St. Louis who was the priest who performed the original exorcism. The "possessed" person was a 14 year-old male who became a NASA engineer and died bout 2020.

1. Casablanca
2. Shawshank Redemption
3. Gladiator
Lord of the Rings Trilogy was brilliant. Return of the King was the best of the three. I don't really think of these as three separate movies. It's hard to rank this epic, but it is by far and away the best trilogy of all time.
1. Sergeant York
2. Star Wars 4, 5 & 6 watched as one continuous movie (Can I do that.)
3. The Sound Of Music
Things are constantly shifting with me, the three that I listed are my three over the last 20 years....individually they probably come and go out of my top three on any particular day but I keep coming back to them.....I keep watching them.I'm not sure I'll ever be able to make up my mind as to which are my top 3 movies. I can say that I really liked Blade Runner and its sequel, as well as Casablanca. I've yet to see The Big Chill.
While I may never be able to decide on my top 3 films, I think that my favourite -director- is Christopher Nolan. My favourite melancholic film used to be one of his first films called Memento. With a shoestring budget, he made a masterpiece in my view. Trailer is below:

He's much more famous for films like the recent Batman Trilogy starting with Dark Knight. I've really liked some of his more recent films, such as Inception and Openheimer. Interstellar was pretty good too.

I hated "The Last Unicorn", I think that was the first movie I was genuinely disappointed in.I think there are -very- few films that I've watched again on my own. If I'm watching a film I've already seen but a friend or family member hasn't, though, I'm good with that. One exception was "The Last Unicorn" when I was a kid. Technically, I watched it several times with my sister, though, so even though we had -both- already seen it, it didn't matter because I liked watching just about anything with my sister. I'd even watch shows I definitely think were meant for girls like "my little pony", but I made a rule that -half- the time we would watch her shows and the other half, it would be my shows. She didn't like that rule, but it basically worked out.
Gasp, blasphemy, lolI hated "The Last Unicorn", I think that was the first movie I was genuinely disappointed in.
It was exceedingly boring, quiet, the animation sucked, even for a kid the animation compared to other movies of the time just was not up to par.Gasp, blasphemy, lol. What didn't you like about it? For my part, I suspect my sister had conditioned me to this type of thing, what with "My Little Pony" and "Care Bears", which I definitely don't think I would have gotten into if it weren't for her influence. She was my younger sister, but only by 2 years, and she was pretty determined as to what she wanted to watch
