Just finished reading an article from Scott Ritter that he just published. It's here:

Quoting from its introduction and conclusion:
**
Russia has informed Ukraine of its baseline condition for conflict termination—the withdrawal of all Ukrainian troops from the territory of lands which, from the perspective of the Russian Constitution, constitute part of Mother Russia. These include Kherson, Zaporozhia, Donetsk and Lugansk. Russia has also made it clear that if Ukraine does not accept these terms, the next time Russia is willing to sit down and negotiate with Ukraine their demands will include four additional Ukrainian oblasts, or administrative regions—presumably Odessa, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, and Kharkov. We have reached the Odessa Moment.

[snip]

As the lead Russian negotiator in Istanbul made clear to his Ukrainian counterparts, Russia is prepared to fight for however long it takes, even alluding to the 21 years it took Peter the Great to defeat Sweden.

Ukraine will be lucky to survive the summer.

Zelensky faces one of the greatest tests of leadership he will ever face.

Nationalist forces in his government are willing to commit national suicide in pursuit of the failed Banderist cause.

Ukraine’s erstwhile allies, whose objectives continue to center around Cold War fantasies of strategically defeating Russia, are pushing Zelensky to reject the Russian conditions for peace, all too willing to sacrifice Ukraine as a proxy in pursuit of their unattainable goal.

If Zelensky truly cared about his nation and his people, he would swallow his pride and make the only decision capable of saving them—surrender.

But Zelensky is not a leader who cares about his nation or its people—he has already sacrificed Ukraine’s national integrity and more than a million of its citizens in pursuit of his EU and NATO driven fantasies of relevance and fortune.

This is Zelensky’s Odessa Moment.

And he will fail.

Again.

Istanbul predictably went nowhere, the Imperial Empire has no interest in peace via diplomacy, these degenerate useless fucks have not yet suffered enough.

That's certainly -one- way of putting it :-p. Here's what Larry Johnson had to say:

The first thing in his article was this picture:

Further down in his article, referencing the above quote from Margarita:

The Russian delegation reportedly told the Ukrainians that Ukrainian troops must vacate the four oblasts that are now part of the Russian Federation — i.e., Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia — before there can be any discussion of a possible ceasefire. If Ukraine does not take the deal now, the next Russian offer will be more onerous. According to the head of RT, Margarita Simonyon, the Russians informed their Ukrainian counterparts that the next demand will be that Ukraine vacate eight oblasts. This was not a bluff. The Russians were channeling their inner Walter Brennan, noted for his iconic catchphrase from the 1960s TV show, The Guns of Will Sonnet… “No brag, just fact.”

I speak the truth to the best of my ability....which is really fucking good.....thats what the education was for.

Well, I think we can agree that Russia's stood firm on its demands and even upped the ante by saying that the next time, the demands will be even greater.

Story has been making rounds that Ukrainians were outraged when Russia negotiators said that Ukrainian soldiers must leave the four new Russian regions as part of ceasefire, to which the Moscow delegation replied "Next time it will be five."Now, our reporter in Istanbul got to ask the Russian side how it really went down:"We didn't say five. We said eight."

Putin and Trump are the fools. Zelensky showed up, he truly wants peace.

-Everyone- wants peace, just on their own terms. As to what terms will prevail, I believe it comes down to 2 things, capability and incentive. Both the U.S. and Russia have similar capabilities when it comes to destructive power, but one of these powers has lot more of an -incentive- to achieve its objectives. That would be Russia. Trump, to his credit, seems to realize this, which is why he's been saying things like the U.S. might leave the conflict to Ukraine and the Europeans. That would definitely be in the best interest of the U.S., though indirectly, I think it'd be in the best interests of -everyone- who'd like peace, that is, peace that is achievable -soon- as opposed to peace that is achieved by Russia completing its objectives the hard way.

Trump doesn’t realize anything. Trump is purely transactional with the emphasis on what benefits Trump. You give him far too much credit.

When it comes to other areas, such as tariffs, I think that Trump has made serious blunders. However, Trump's wish to end the Ukraine war as soon as possible is one of the few areas where I think Trump's logic makes perfect sense. From what I've read, I've come to believe that the war in Ukraine is one that the west simply can't win. At "best", it would be a stalemate of the nuclear holocaust variety. I think that Trump recognizes this, which is why he told Zelensky that he was "gambling with World War 3" in his tussle with him at the Oval Office. I believe it's also why Trump was reminding reporters something so basic it shouldn't even have to be said, but apparently in America, the obvious isn't so obvious anymore- Russia has nukes, and a lot of 'em.

Again, his motives are selfish, he has no human capacity to care for others. He wanted the glory. He doesn’t care about people dying. All the books I’ve read about him have stated he is very narcissistic.

I find it sad to say that despite Trump's flaws, he is -still- ahead of the establishment when it comes to Ukraine. I can agree that his motives are frequently selfish, but that doesn't change the fact that the United States' continued support of the Ukrainian regime makes no sense for anyone but the war mongers who want to "weaken" Russia while getting rich via the arms industry.

It makes sense to all the countries next on Putin’s list. It makes sense to all who wish to put Putin’s aggression in check.
