Some of the proposed new rules on federal aid would make it so the worst forest fire Colorado ever had would not make the cut to receive federal aid. I'll see if I can look up info on it... link up what I'm talking about.

It's so sad, really. We are all human beings, we are all Americans. Help during an emergency shouldn't depend on politics. Our Constitution even mandates that one of the roles of the federal government is to provide for "the welfare" of the citizens. FEMA does just that, or would if not hobbled by #ElonAndtheFelon.

Oh, that's just great. I wonder if it has to do with the disaster spanning state lines? That would make the tornadoes that hit MIssouri and other states eligible, but not the horrible wildfires in Colorado or California. Or an earthquake affecting only one state. Or a massive flood in only one state.

They will not be getting as much help as they need from FEMA.
Trump and Musk have not only cut FEMAS budget but some of the staff they need to do their job, cutting the help these people really need.
And yes they ARE getting what they voted for and are now crying about it.
And it IS my love for AMERICA and it's people that I point out that we will all have to suffer now because of your MAGA stupidity.
