Another SpaceX "musk up" as 9th test flight ends in failure ....

Maybe if Musk had spent the past several months paying attention to running his company instead of kissing trump's ass and trying to be his #1 butt boy, this kind of failure wouldn't be such a regular occurrence...

Thankfully it wasn't his money, just all those taxpayer dollars the DOGE bros saved in cutting waste, fraud and abuse by VA workers, NOAA scientists, CDC doctors and other nonessential government bloodsuckers.

There is absolutely no benefit to humankind from space travel. It's done because the technology exists and the military/industrial complex believes it gives a military advantage. Contrary to our trust in their motives they have filled near space with millions of pieces of junk , created a spying network which has robbed us of our privacy and a communications network to sell us stuff that we don't need , the production of which is destroying our environment.

Disagreed. Our world is overdue for another major impact event. Space travel allows human beings to use tech to detect and intercept any space rock presenting a hazard.

There are other possible civilization destroying calamities that could become a major extinction event such as the Yosemite supervolcano. Space flight allowing the colonization of space and other planets would allow humanity to survive and even provide help should an extinction event occur.

The tech required to go into space have multiple benefits on Earth. Cordless drills and solar panels are two common examples. No doubt your buddies in Gaza could use a solar power charging station along with cordless tools and communications equipment.

I disagree with that, especially as earth's lifespan would appear to be limited, but I think we might agree that space travel should be low on the priority list for the time being. When it comes to humanity, there are a lot more important things going on here on earth at the moment.

Such as? Surrender Ukraine to Russia to "stop the killing"? Force Israel to suck it up and leave the Jihadists alone? Let Iran have nukes?

Your brain is lame, pimp. There won't be any space colonization nor planetary colonization. You've been reading too much ' Flash Gordon ' along with your porn mags.
You'd better learn to live in the paradise world that we've been gifted instead of fucking it up and slaughtering everything in it- 'cause the kids are gonna get rid of you if you don't

It's not a mystery why you culture is getting its ass kicked for being violent and stupid.

Such as?

Working out peace deals and treaties that are in the best interests of humanity as a whole comes to mind.

Agreed. How you work out a peace deal with an aggressive, power-hungry dictator like Putin? Do you think appeasement works?

What about the Palestinians? What is your solution to a Death Cult that will settle for nothing less than "From the River to the Sea"?
