Same here. I just heard about it a couple weeks ago, too. The advertising, permits, and other organization in such a short amount of time is remarkable. Meanwhile, I haven't seen anything about the Parade to Destroy DC's Streets Just So We Can Spend $45M to Fix Them. Did anyone pay attention to the lonely birthday party Trump planned for himself? I heard the fireworks were nice. I hope he feels appreciated now.

The same here, the protest surpassed my expectations. It was wonderful, people were passing out water, donuts, muffins, flags and Fuck Trump stickers. It was a big party! Lots of clever signs. It was good for my soul!

Same in NYC. I've heard estimates there were about 50,000 people there, but it's really impossible for me to tell when I'm in it. There were no problems or insurrections. No police officers were assaulted. There were lots of smiles and fist bumps and hugs. We all shared our strengths with each other to keep resisting and keep going until this nightmare ends. A far cry from the MAGAts who spit up hatred every time they open their mouths, wave Confederate flags, and vandalize the US Capitol.

Maybe 5000 at most. Pretty pathetic.
