After dueling Army processions in Washington, D.C. and nationwide “No Kings” protests, the war of spin has begun.

Following the Saturday event in the Capitol, the Trump administration was quick to tout what appeared to be inflated attendance numbers and brand the “No Kings” protest, which drew millions across events in some 2,000 cities and small towns across the country, as an “utter failure with minuscule attendance.”

“Despite the threat of rain, over 250,000 patriots showed up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army,” White House communications director Steven Cheung wrote on X. “God Bless the USA!”

Outside estimates, meanwhile, suggest there were far fewer in attendance than the 200,000 people expected to view the parade, which coincided with the president’s birthday.

Empty bleachers and gaps in the audience could be seen in the crowd that turned out to watch more than 6,000 soldiers and 128 Army tanks roll through Washington.

In terms of sheer numbers, the “No Kings” events that took place the same day as the parade dwarfed the Trump administration’s event, drawing between four and six million people, according to an estimate from data journalist G. Elliot Morris and outside analysts. The event’s organizers have put the number at more than 5 million.

According to the estimates there was a ratio of between 8:1 and 10:1 to the NO KING protest to Crazy Trump's parade which surely should sent a clear message.

The whole point of the MAGA cult is to favor blind loyalty over competence.

Leadership should have never allowed such a listless and unenthusiastic parade to take place. There should have been competent planning and execution.

The message is very clear. There's a lot of crazy old people who wasted a perfectly good day....:)
That is what you got out of No Kings Day? That is why your posting is so weak. You have no understanding of what millions of people were marching for. They were not old people. They were a cross-section of America. This is another message that completely eluded you.

What message was that? I mentioned that it was nice to see That it was a nice opportunity for old people to bond but it didn't prove anything or accomplish anything. I can think of a hundred other senior activities that would have been more beneficial...

Maybe you ought to be doing some of those more beneficial activities rather than just posting nonsense.

It should be a lot higher then that. If Trump only had 250.000 people at his big parade and there was over 5 million at the no kings rallies that would be 20 to 1 .
It doesn't matter the NO King rallies had a hell of a lot more people then Trumps parade and Trump should realize people are NOT happy with him, but he won't he is too stupid.

Didn't prove anything? How can you say that? Trump is seriously pissed that so many people demonstrated against him and his "perade". Trump believes that he is loved, even though his ratings are lower than any president ever. He got slapped in the face by reality and went after Hegseth, blaming him for Trump's disaster.

When these Red perverts say 'millions' they mean around 200,000 nationwide. Divide by 10 to 20 whatever these gimps are told to parrot.
