Israel's war with several middle eastern countries

While I don't think that Israel has actually -declared- war on any other country, it's certainly -acting- like a country at war with various other middle eastern countries. From Palestine (if you agree that it's a country) to Lebanon, Syria and now Iran, Israel has certainly kept itself busy. I thought I'd make this thread as a central place to talk about all these wars that Israel is engaged in, as well as the United States' role in them. I'll start off with a speech, or rant, as Scott Ritter likes to call them, on who Trump is listening to when it comes to national intelligence issues:

He brings up the likelihood that Trump is listening more to Israeli intelligence than his own, which I think most would agree is a sad state of affairs.

I'd also like to link to a previous thread I made on the subject of assassinations and Israel's reliance on them both in the past and in the present day:

More interestingly is how nation after nation in the Middle East is falling into chaos and civil war. Lebanon and Syria are two examples. Palestine can't get their shit together long enough to even stop fighting themselves. Libya is a disaster. Iraq teeters on civil war.

Quite frankly, Israel isn't fighting internally it is fighting all its neighbors who start shit with each other, themselves, and Israel.

The American Empire has been a disaster for the region.

You think their fighting each other is just a happy coincidence for Israel and its western allies?

No, Arab tribalism and Islam have been.

Who do you think has been fanning the flames? I'm sure you've heard of Divide and Conquer.

Interference from the West has been ongoing there since before the US was founded as a nation. Our first wars were in the Middle East, and we've had issues there ever since, just as Europe has.

Do you view this as a good thing or a bad thing? Other than some brief instances, such as the work of Lawrence of Arabia, I think it's generally been bad.

I think it's unfortunate that the Israeli government learned a lot of its biggest mistakes from groups like the Nazis. I'm sure that Hitler would have been just fine with that line from Golda Meir to prop up his own regime as well, especially as Nazi germany approached its demise.

No, I think it's centuries of social, economic, religious, and cultural inculcation that have combined to create Arabic culture and the societies they live in. Lawrence of Arabia, a Westerner who understood that culture intimately, says as much and he lived over a century ago. It is slowly changing, but to completely upend a culture takes multiple generations and it doesn't happen overnight. The exception to that is when it is forced, and even then, it doesn't work very well. Instead, you get major pushback to it.

No flames to fan, Arabs are their own worst enemy.

Western intervention in the Middle East was and is brought about by the very nature of Arab culture. When you wage war and piracy on your neighbors, they are going to do something about it. Bad or good, it has been necessary.

Sure, Lawrence of Arabia understood their divisions, but he tried and was successful in bridging many of those divides. Much of the west these days is intent on doing the opposite, in order to divide and conquer. Some recent examples:

Yes, today, western elites certainly exploit the divisions of Arab and Persian culture. T.E. Lawrence did the opposite, bringing different tribes together. That's why he was so successful in freeing the Arabs from the Ottoman Empire. Here's a line from him that encapsulates his feelings on the matter:
"I loved you, so I drew these tides of men into my hands/and wrote my will across the sky in stars"

The Grey Zone is an out and out conspiracy nutter site. It makes Alex Jones and Infowars look rational and sane. I usually don't just slam a site like this, but the Grey Zone is an exception. It's so utterly far Left it's on the radical Right having looped around the universe.

Grayzone, sparking free speech debate

Far-left news site says crowdfunding company prevented access to donations, citing ‘external concerns’.

In the above links you gave, you have a bunch of questionable sources and ones that are horribly biased with no attempt at any sort of balance.

There is no genocide or gas chambers in Israel, dummy.

Fighting each other is a happy coincidence???????

No, I was trying to point out to Gardner that the fact that there are various middle east factions fighting each other isn't a coincidence at all- it's planned. Some stories that strongly hint at this:

I certainliy haven't heard of any gas chambers in Israel, but as to genocide, there's a growing consensus that that's exactly what Israel is doing:

Insult never further a discussion- instead, they distract from it. I suspect that's your goal, though perhaps an unconscious one.
