Trump...like a rock...

The sad part is that America may have been changed forever. The architecture for Trump's power grab has been created since before Reagan times. The destruction of the walls separating the branches did not start in 2016. The groundwork was paid for by the oligarchs, and the Repub politicians did what they were told. Project 2025 is not the first. There were other projects in the past, that were modified again and again.
Teddy Roosevelt talked about the wealthy working in the dark to take power . FDR talked about it too. The super wealthy live like royalty as they take more money and power. They are patient. Teddy called them the malefactors of great wealth and started the inheritance tax to keep them from accumulating enormous fortunes and power . He was the Trust Buster who tried to keep the corporations from merging and controlling the economy. He was wealthy and knew what the wealthy are like and what they will do in the dark with their power.
Teddy talked about swollen fortunes of the gentry, accumulation over time. He said he did not deny a guy who started a great idea, making a lot of money. But the swollen fortunes passed on through time are different in kind and in power. Teddy predicted this, and now it is here.
