He is a good student and had good potential so he will probably make a plea deal for "sudden passion" and get 10-15 years. (If he has a good lawyer)

Hey moron I live about 15 miles from where this MURDER occurred. I understand how the legal system in Texas works. My wife is a court reporter. This kid will go away for 10-15 years. He might go away for more because it is a national case and DAs sometimes want to make a national reputation. The kid has no priors so maybe the jury will go easy on him if he doesn't plead out.
