Birthright Citizenship....

Supreme Court Partially stays the decision. Amy Barrett wrote the opinion, looks like a punt on the ultimate question.
They're cowards.

Their one purpose is to create clarity of interpretation so that we can either decide that the law must be changed or not.

A president's authority is protected by the Constitution and has always been defended by the Justice Department and the Supreme Court, when challenged. You know, like Executive Immunity? Trump won that one, too.
Thanks for admitting that you're too ignorant of the Constitution and US history to understand that the DOJ is supposed to be independent of the President, not an enforcement arm of the President's agenda.

Dumbass rednecks never seem to grasp that.

Pay attention, Nordy:

What part of that says that the J.D is an enforcement arm of the president’s agenda?

His “authority “ is protected, not enforced.

Poor Nordy.

You're too stupid to even waste time on, Mearle.

The job of the Justice Dept is not to defend Presidential authority.

Their job is to enforce the laws created by Congress and upheld by the courts.

Period.

When some asshole like trump comes along and claims to have authority that the Constitution does not allow him to have, the job of the JD is not to enforce whatever an asshole like trump tells them to.

They are supposed to be independent of the WH.

Poor Mearle.

None of that rambling bullshit even has anything to do with the post you're responding to, Jethro

When the control of Congress is held by the same party as the President, nobody in their right mind would expect them to act faithfully to keep him in check.

The courts say what the President can and cannot do.

The DOJ, if it's functioning the way it was meant to and always did prior to trump coming in and fucking it all up, is supposed to enforce what the courts deem constitutional or unconstitutional.

Dumb hillbilly fuck.

Comrade, what branch of government is the DOJ part of, in your alleged mind?

Seriously?
