I think the Republican Party is more racist now than when Obama was elected.
One curious aspect about Trump is his obsessive pursuit of topping Obama. The Moscow bed thing, being elected twice and, the most elusive for him, being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Both Donnie and Junior have been whining about it on social media.

I was a staunch Republican for 38 years before becoming a Libertarian after the 2012 election when the Republicans rejected the results of their own "Growth & Opportunity Project".
