Justice Department abruptly fires 3 prosecutors involved in Jan. 6 criminal cases ​

The Justice Department on Friday fired at least three prosecutors involved in U.S. Capitol riot criminal cases, the latest moves by the Trump administration targeting attorneys connected to the massive prosecution of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack, according to two people familiar with the matter.

 
Not a big surprise. Fascist governments prefer to have tame judges and prosecutors so they can continue to get away with their criminal activities and use the justice system to persecute perceived enemies. I'm sure that these people knew what was coming and already have better jobs to step into.

Meanwhile, his stooges are attacking university presidents for the crime of helping to make the country more inclusive. The much admired president of the University of Virginia got a letter a week ago saying if he didn't go away by the end of that week all federal funding would be canceled. So he left , and the university is the poorer for it in things other than money.
