Nearly 12 million estimated to lose health coverage under Trump budget bill

Medicaid is on the chopping block.

That means the elderly, disabled and low-income Americans will be without healthcare.

Are you suggesting the fix is for the elderly and disabled to get jobs?
Medicaid is not healthcare.
Nothing prevents you from buying healthcare.

Medicaid is government owned insurance. It is not on the 'chopping block'. It is, however, unconstitutional and communism.

I still have seen no proof of anyone losing benefits...or getting them cut... who is eligible...
Anyone that wants to can go read the bill for themselves. It does not cut Medicaid/Medicare at all. The claim that it does is nothing more than a total fabrication by the Democrats...and the morons here obediently take up the chant.

(I think Jarod's post was sarcasm.)

The majority of elderly residents in America's nursing homes are having their sojourns covered by Medicaid. Where will they go if the funding is cut? Are we just going to dump them in parks and alleys? Are we going to require them to get jobs? I wonder what sort of job a dementia patient could do? *sigh*

Next problem -- most rural hospitals in America are at least partially funded by Medicaid. Rural areas, of course, tend to vote for (R)s. Won't they be surprised when their local community hospital closes its doors and they have to travel far to get urgent or emergent care?

The bullshit about undocumented migrants receiving Medicaid is very reminiscent of Reagan's "welfare queen" schtick. MAGATs are cool with cuts to this vital program because they stupidly believe that only lazy brown ppl, some of whom aren't even citizens, are receiving it.
The funding is not being cut.
