Nearly 12 million estimated to lose health coverage under Trump budget bill

Anyone can go see for themselves, Winterbutt. It never works to deny your own posts.

They are welcome to do so.

I even scrolled through my posts to make sure I didn't post something that could be misconstrued.

Nothing comes close to what you claim I said.

So either post my comment or admit you lied. (or let everyone else see you lied and tried to hide it)

Into the Night, are you talking about my post:
"In the late 80s my family had to buy basic health insurance. My wife (at the time) had some medical issues. After a year we received notice that she was being dropped from the policy, but that the kids and I were still covered as valued customers. Needless to say, I cancelled the policy."??

Not only should every aspect of the health care industry be removed from the private sector,
but so should every aspect of the insurance industry as well. Every kind of insurance.

The private sector is for discretionary spending.
No problem with that.
No problem with profit for developing desirable consumer goods and services.

The maintenance of a safe, healthy, educated, and civilized community
doesn't need a wasteful profit component, however.
It's a communal responsibility.

More intelligent nations than ours realize that, some carrying it further than others
but all carrying it much further than we do.

But this is the important part... so good news!!!

The Five Biggest Corporations Represented at Trump’s Inauguration Could Save $75 Billion from One Tax Break Before Congress

New financial reports indicate five of America’s biggest corporations—Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta, and Tesla—could win $75 billion in tax breaks if Congress and the President satisfy demands from corporate lobbyists to reinstate a provision repealed under the 2017 Trump tax law....

...Proponents of the tax break make a very questionable argument that it encourages companies to engage in research that benefits society. But reinstating this tax break retroactively obviously cannot accomplish this because it would merely reward companies for research and development investments they already made. The $75 billion saved by these companies would be a pure windfall that does not require them to do anything going forward....
