The House on Thursday passed the signature piece of legislation of President Trump's second term, approving his "big, beautiful bill" by a vote of 218 to 214.

To pay for the tax breaks, the bill makes steep cuts to Medicaid, food aid programs and clean energy funding.

Look. Don't get me wrong, seeing that would both be refreshing and frustrating at the same time. Watching folks twist arguments to a point where massive deficits are somehow "fiscally responsible" and "conservative" is always frustrating. Watching folks fall for, "If you lower taxes you will never make it up in revenue" arguments also frustrating.
Watching democrats fight against "no tax on tips" was fun though.
