Thousands of new immigration enforcement officers. Tens of thousands of new detention beds. New fees on asylum applications. And new construction on the border wall.

Donald Trump’s sweeping spending bill would vastly expand the federal government’s immigration enforcement machinery and, if passed by the House, supercharge the president’s plan to carry out what he has vowed will be the largest deportation campaign in US history.


The measure would authorize a level of immigration enforcement spending that analysts and advocates say is without precedent. Trump’s so-called “big, beautiful bill” dedicates roughly $170bn for immigration and border-related operations – a staggering sum that would make US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) the most heavily funded law enforcement agency in the federal government, and that critics warn will unleash more raids, disrupt the economy and severely restrict access to humanitarian protections like asylum.

We spent how much on Chartered Jet Airliners and Busses to move illegals into the interior?

The CBO states that the AVERAGE cost of each illegal is $65K a year. Some illegals cost more than that, particularly kids, because of the extra costs spent on education, medicine (vaccines, tooth repairs, parasite infections, rape victim kits), and clothing(they grow!). Others cost less than $65K a year, usually because they are working under-the-table, or selling drugs for the cartels. So, a whole different kind of costs.

Best estimates are that the there was around 8-10M illegals on the day that Biden took office. During the Biden Era, the DHS estimates that 11M to possibly 24M illegals entered the country, with most DHS sources stating 16M is the best estimate. Point is, we don't really know!

Well, $65K X 16M = $1.04T per year! Per YEAR!

So, spending $0.17T to get rid of them quickly, will amount to a huge savings for the American Tax Payers, in the next decade. It will save America Trillions!

BTW, those illegals who are working-under-the-table... Yeah, they greatly increase the annual bonuses of the wealthy Elites...


But they are a triple whammy on the common, working class, American:

1] They don't pay taxes on their economic activities, lowering state and federal revenue.

2] They take jobs from American-born workers.

3] They send about 50-70% of the money they are paid, out of the U.S., to family in their country of origin. That's money not doing economic churn here, and it increases our trade deficits world-wide, devaluing the Dollar!

You realize that every taxpayer will have to pay an additional thousand dollars on average in taxes for trump's gestapo? That is an insane amount of money.

You were corrected on this before. You gave a link, but it did not support your claim. The CBO did not make any such estimate, it was a private advocacy organization called the "Center for Immigration Studies." They did not claim that it was a year, but rather over an entire lifetime. And they admitted it was only a guess. Oh and the number is $68k, not $65k.

It is odd, but if you enter your claim into Google, it comes up with you being the only source for it. But you gave a link, so I was able to correct your claim. Next time come up with a more reasonable claim, and I will probably not check it.

Using the National Academies’ estimate of immigrants’ net fiscal impact by education level, we estimate that the lifetime fiscal drain (taxes paid minus costs) for each illegalimmigrant is about $68,000, although this estimate comes with some caveats.
