WINNING! MSNBC, CNN see dramatic declines in viewership — while Fox News continues to dominate: Nielsen

Wow, Wally the genius, did you pull that 0.2% out of your crusty ass cheeks or just make it up to feel better about your sources of marching orders?
According to the link that Truth Detester included:
The conservative-leaning network’s total primetime viewership spiked 25%, averaging 2.633 million, and 34%, to 304,000, in the demo compared to the second quarter of last year.

The demo in question was 25-54 years old. There are about 131 million Americans between 25 and 54. So that is about 0.2% of the demo.

And it gets worse. Usually advertisers talk about 25-49. I wonder why they had to add 5 years on?

Reality check: Fox crushed it in Q2 2025 with 1.63 million daily viewers
There are 340 million Americans, so 1.63 million is a little less than 0.5%. They do better with the over 55 set, and worse with the target demo. The problem with that is most people know what they want to buy by age 55. They know whether they prefer Coke or Pepsi, and a clever ad will not change that.

But again, you are not even making it to 1% of the market, and trying to sell that as "crushing it." That is just sad.

That’s not a “niche” you fucking stupid shithead drone
Less than 1% of the overall market is a niche market. Hey you can do amazing things with a niche market, as long as you do not confuse it with market dominance.

it’s complete domination
No matter how you cut things, it is less than 1%. More people do not know FoxNews exists than watch it.

Fox News has been handing you libtard drones a beatdown for years, but lately, it’s a full-on bloodbath. The ratings scream the truth, though I know you’re scavenging for some fairy tale to soothe your bruised ego, like, “The vast majority don’t even watch cable news!” No kidding, Captain Obvious.

Stay focused, Wally, we’re just rubbing your nose in the fact that your pathetic propaganda outlets are tanking harder than a lead balloon. Man up, swallow the bitter pill of reality, and maybe, just maybe, try to figure out why your team’s getting obliterated instead of whining like Biden in a soggy diaper.

Dumbest Post I've read today. :palm:

Reality check: Fox crushed it in Q2 2025 with 1.63 million daily viewers, snagging a 62% audience share while MSNBC and CNN are eating dust at 596,000 and 406,000. Maybe next time, try harder instead of drooling out random decimals pretending you understand how to use a calculator.
walt is addicted to stupidity and lies.

You're a brainless clown Walt.

Where did you get these statistics?
The original article had less than 1% of Americans watching FoxNews. Do you think 1% of Americans do not know what FoxNews is? Have you ever been to America? There are at least 1% of Americans who do not know almost anything.

20% of Americans cannot find America on a map. Do you honestly think that less than 1% do not know FoxNews exists?

I went and looked at the article- you're right about Fox News getting less than 1% of American viewers. From the article:
**
The conservative-leaning network’s total primetime viewership spiked 25%, averaging 2.633 million
**

Source:

The U.S. population being around 347 million, Fox viewership is certainly well below 1%. As to how many people haven't heard of FoxNews, I see that you're basically going on speculation. I think we can agree that it's not that important a point though.

While I cannot prove that 1% of Americans do not know FoxNews exists, anyone who has interacted with Americans realize that 1% of us do not know anything. It just stands to reason.

Given that FoxNews viewership is less than 1%, that would mean that more Americans do not know FoxNews exists than watch it.

I've interacted with Americans, here and in person, and I don't think you're correct on that assumption. But again, I think we're getting distracted from the main point, that being that the mainstream TV networks are becoming less relevant as many if not most people have realized that they're bought and paid for by big pharma and other corporations and are increasingly relying on independent media for their news.

Wow. You claim their are no conservative guests and then know it's true that Scott Jennings is a regular guest.
Could you show yourself to be even more stupid, poopiehead?

I think 1% of Irish people have no idea they are in Europe. One percent of any group is going to be fairly stupid.

You just made 2 unsubstantiated assertions/speculations. I'm fine with speculation, I just think it's good to recognize when something is speculation and when something is backed by solid evidence.

29.6 million persons in the US over the age of 5 have limited English proficiency - (9.3%of the over 5 population.) (https://data.census.gov/table?q=Ame...nguage&d=ACS+1-Year+Estimates+Detailed+Tables

18.9 million persons in the US are under the age of 5. (5.6% of the population) https://www.census.gov/data/tables/2023/demo/age-and-sex/2023-age-sex-composition.html

The claim that the number of people that don't know what Fox news is 1% is too low based on solid evidence.

Good point, I had not thought of young children.
