I'll admit that this is a rather odd/unexpected development to the Epstein saga and that I currently don't understand the Trump Admin's actions re: it.Trump disavows supporters pushing Jeffrey Epstein 'bulls---': 'I don't want their support anymore!'
In a lengthy Truth Social post, Trump called supporters "weaklings" for pushing the Justice Department to release more files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

I apologize for not having seen this earlier. It's simple. Do you remember the Steele dossier? It was a hoax. So is the Epstein file. This is why nobody said anything for all these years, and then suddenly, everybody has to know what is in the "Epstein file", or better, "who" is in the Epstein file, so those people can be demonized for ... for being in the Epstein file. Now, there actually is an Epstein file, and it is sitting on Bondi's desk, but can you guess what's in it? Fabrications, by the people who brought us the Steele dossier ... and Epstein's child porn evidence. That's the poison pill joke of all this. Pam Bondi had to look at the child porn images and decide/announce that she wasn't going to be releasing it to the public. Now anyone can ask of anyone demanding to see the Epstein file why he wants child porn to be made available to the public.
Good move.
The Trump Admin has been doing absolutely FANTASTIC on a number of the most key issues, including but not limited to:
1) Securing border / stopping the illegal alien invasion / ramping up deportation of illegal aliens
2) Implementing tariffs / Altering the global trade 'status quo' in the USA working man's favor
3) Bringing manufacturing jobs back to the USA / reducing the previously-growing dependency on China
4) Implementing economic and energy policies that will lead to cheaper gas/energy and stable/lower prices of other goods/services down the line.
5) Getting rid of "climate change" dictates / getting rid of DEI dictates
6) Successfully brokering peace deals across the world (although that's proven to be more challenging than initially thought)
Instead of being a crybaby about the Epstein stuff, I'm going to celebrate ALLLLL THEEEEE WINNINGGGGG.

What you've described here is precisely why I took a "wait and see" approach when I had that initial feeling of "not understanding" why President Trump was saying the words that he was saying. My rather simplistic mind doesn't easily retain a plethora of details about a number of these different hoaxes (and how they are or might be interconnected); it mostly just retains the conclusion that "this was a hoax" and moves on to other matters. In the present moment however, since hindsight is 20/20, I do understand why Trump said what he said at the time (and why he keeps using the phrase "Epstein hoax").
