When California was a red state it prospered. Now it is hopelessly a blue state and it is headed toward oblivion

- Highest gasoline taxes
- Sales tax is one of the highest in the country
- Almost 44% of chronically homeless people in the country are in California
- It accounts for approximately one‑third of total U.S. welfare recipients across all programs (e.g., Medi‑Cal/Medicaid, CalFresh/SNAP, CalWORKs/TANF, SSI, general assistance)
- 27% of people living in California were foreign born
- California ranks 38 in math and 33 in reading proficiencies. They used to be at the top
- California is 9th in per capita crime rate
