Trump can't legally deploy in any of the many states.
DC is federal territory, giving Trump powers he does not have in the states. His staff should keep him from making stupid claims such as deploying in Chicago.
The FBI relies on data provided by local agencies. The DC police were lying, as already documented. The miscreant that provided the false data has been suspended (fired) and not by Bondi - directly by the department, that acknowledges the fraud.
