INCOME TAX ELIMINATION

I like your prediction. I like that you had the cojones to step up to the plate.

I predict the following adjustments:

1. Trump will announce "Due to the $Trillions we're raking in ..."
2. I think the income ceiling will be $200K
3. Democrats will still ask "How are you planning to pay for it?"
1. Okay, you're definitely correct here. I forgot about the fact that Trump never undersells his accomplishments. He'll definitely use the word 'trillion' (probably in plural form).

2. You might be right about this too. I do have a tendency to "err on the side of caution" (as I don't like to oversell). I figure that 100K is very doable; 200K would be great.

3. This is very true as well. If "tax breaks for the wealthy!" falls flat (which it will because it literally doesn't make any sense), and if an attempt to criticize the fact that "people who make above [$_____] don't NEEEEED any tax breaks" falls flat (which it will), then your #3 is what they'll probably try to sell to people. They would probably say that Trump eliminating the federal income tax for people making under [$______] is BAD! BAD! BAD!, TERRIBLE!, AWFUL! even, because "we just can't afford it"; "we're [$___] TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN DEBT you know!!!!!" But if a Democrat President did it, then they'd be cheering for joy about it.

🎶 Oh LORD it sucks to be liberal, when you're stupid in every way.
I can't wait to look at the TV, 'cause I need my instructions each day.
To know me is to dread me, am I a woman or a man?
Oh LORD it sucks to be liberal, anything I don't like I ban. 🎶

Magical thinking is not a solution.
pretending Trump can increasing spending and it won't get worse is clearly not the solution.

you are a joke.

Again - libertarians oppose direct taxation.
you speak for you - and you only.

You've never read any of them. You read the Chomskyite bullshit Lew Rockwell puts up and delude yourself that it is rational.

you are a retard. argue about what you know, which is little.

" the Chomskyite bullshit Lew Rockwell puts up"

what the fuck does that even mean @Uncensored2008

Noam Chomsky is no friend of Austrian Economics. Only a poser would make such a claim. You clearly have zero idea about sound money advocates think and say, or even who they align with

Noam Chomsky unfortunately has become the voice of the the LPUSA - thanks to Lew Rockwell. Chomsky is a socialist. Many like you, claim to be "libertarian" whilst promoting the Chomskyite idiocy. Your love of direct taxes, for instance, is classic Chomsky thinking. None of the Austrians support your love of confiscatory taxation - exactly the opposite.

Murray Rothbard - father of the Libertarian Party - argues in his book "Man. Economy, and State" that direct taxation isn't just immoral, it is an impediment to a healthy economy by stripping wealth from the climbers - those who rise from poverty and form the backbone of a dynamic economy. The top stagnates due to lack of incentive to achieve, the middle is the source of innovation and vibrance.

Income taxes are simply the aristocracy putting a boot to the face of the middle class to keep them from climbing the ladder of success.

You are a moron. They are polar opposites. They are not aligned at all and never have been

wow.

"This pinpoints a seemingly willful ignorance when it comes to economic matters. I do not find this surprising in the context of Chomsky’s intellectual interests but, as the passage of time has demonstrated, it of course limits the application of his ideas to the real world, and to bringing about any substantive changes to that world."

does that sound like agreement retard?

bwahahahahaha

you are a fucking idiot. We criticize Chomsky and you take that as support

At this point, I want to modify this point even further. Democrats are actually being very silent on this matter, all things considered. Why? They are scared sheetless. Democrats can't go on record as opposing the elimination of income taxes in the face of Trump plausibly pushing it. All remaining Democrats would flee the party and join Trump. Democrats see no way to beat Trump on this issue. Their desperation has them using surrogates, i.e. people posing as "economists" and "think tanks." So, the correct answer is that the Democrats will dig in for their "last stand" by flooding CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and every other source possible with "economists" explaining how Trump's tax relief will destroy the world. The hype will be bad. Anticipate it. Look for it. Democrats will hijack MAGA and make it mean "Make America Gullible Again" and try to get Americans to demand higher taxes in addition to keeping the ones that are already in place, otherwise they won't be able to fight Climate Change. Be prepared for another COVID hoax; heck, it worked before.

"Economists (aka "the experts") say..." -- That's a pretty lame one too, but yeah, then it's not THEM opposing eliminating income taxes; it's "the experts" ("the economists") opposing it. They're then simply "heeding expert advice".
