You have astutely clued-in on a key aspect of any Libertarian organization, i.e. that they have become indistinguishable from Marxist anarchists (communists). The content of the underlying Utopian doctrine doesn't matter, e.g. "everybody else's wealth should be confiscated and freely redistributed to me!", "the supply-demand curve should be the basis for everything", etc. Over time, each will latch onto a very limited subset of the complete picture, allow themselves to be manipulated into surrendering to fear-n-panic, and will eventually HATE the US just like all the sniveling leftist idiots on this board.
I still think of myself as a Libertarian, but I am a classical Libertarian, and my Utopian doctrine is the supply-demand curve (and a few others from sound economics). Regrettably, today, when I hear the term "Libertarian" being used, they are all religiously against fiat currency, they are all against any form of government, including any police or military, and in most other respects are indistinguishable from Marxist anarchists (communists).
