'Basically, the same thing' is a little fantasy of the lefts. It isn't close to the same thing. We don't know yet, but we do know that two judges signed off on the warrants. If Bolton has so much as a scribbled note about something classified, he's cooked. Why? Because it's highly illegal.
Trump was President and had every right to take any and all documents he wanted, period. Just because the Biden administration was concerned about what files he had, like the ones that could fry them all, doesn't give them the right to demand he turn over the files. Trump did nothing illegal, yet he was raided as if he was Al Capone. Nothing similar at all.
Oh, don't tell me that they thought he had files that were not declassified. A President only needs to verbally say I am declassifying these, and they are declassified, just like that. The Trump lawyers gave all the evidence needed to prove the documents were declassified, that's all it takes, period.
Biden's little opsy was also highly illegal, but he was ruled to mentally clueless to be held accountable. Why was it highly illegal? The files he had were taken when he was Vice President, not President. The difference? He can't declassify files like the President can.
Pretend all you want, but you better get used to your hero's getting rounded up and many will be arrested. Why? Because they are guilty as hell, and no one is above the law.
