#1 in homelessness

#1 in public deification

#1 in tent cities among sidewalks and public places

#1 in highest income tax in America

#1 for highest sales tax in America

#1 highest gas tax in the country

#1 highest electricity rates in the Continental United States

My warning to Republicans is that beware of Newscum's obvious run for the 2028 presidency,
because he has quite a few firsts from his home state of California in which to use on his campaign trail.

High ranking in economy.

Toss in:

#1 in blackouts with 24% of the nation's total.

#1 in out of service high speed rail

#1 In high school dropouts and persons with less than a high school diploma (15.3%)

#1 In welfare recipients
Ranked high in world's economy. Texas failed at the power grid.

It must be sore for you. Like a cultist you only see the good in Trump and MAGA.

Your hatred for the Left is visible.

Ranked high in world's economy. Texas failed at the power grid.

California is 4th in world's economy headed towards being 5th and falling. Texas, thanks largely to T. Boone Pickens is big on wind power that is causing them--not to the level California has hit--to have blackouts and an unreliable grid. California is actively pursuing more wind and solar and as they do their grid is increasingly unstable and unaffordable.

I don't so you fail on that.
Your hatred for the Left is visible.
Thank god for that!

Thanks for admitting it has great economy. Your prediction is merely your opinion.

You could have fooled me because all you do is defending Trump and MAGA at every opportunity and criticism.

Thank God for your hatred? Sad.

Actually, it would probably be closer to third or third and not headed for fifth if the Democrats weren't running things. California is on a slow-motion train wreck to becoming the West Coast "rust belt" / Detroit. California is driving off business. It has already destroyed many industries that do manufacturing. It is trying to kill off the oil and gas industry now. High tech chip manufacturers won't even consider building there.

It's no different than what happened in the Rust Belt or Detroit. Democrats and the Left got in charge and entrenched in power. They then raised taxes and spending through the rafters on big corporations and The Rich to pay for grandiose socialist schemes. Government piled on the regulations and laws in the name of NIMBYism and things like a "clean environment." Those attracted the worthless and non-productive. Those with money or success left for friendlier shores. Everything fell into ruin.

It doesn't happen overnight. Detroit took decades of that abuse to end up failing and that was on a single industry. California had more and the death is taking longer. But it is inevitable. The Left can't help themselves. They'll keep raising taxes and robbing the successful to pay for pipedreams like high-speed rail. That project won't stop and it will never come close to a profit. Instead, it'll lose billions, and the government will simply rob everyone to pay for the loss.

California was built by govt. spending; they rely on stealing water from as far away as Colorado to keep LA in water, and rely on govt. welfare spending to keep their illegals and anchor babies fed, and in turn rely on them for Congressional seats. Their middle class and most industries are fleeing en masse. They are merely a pass through state servicing the slave labor economies of the Pac-Rim police states, ripping off a piece of the shipping to the other states. Southern CAlifornia looks like a giant grave pit as it is, and when it loses its power in Congress it will revert back to desert.

The U.S. needs to only build a wall along the Mexican border but around southern Cal, and keep them from trashing the rest of the country with their Hollywood doper mentality.

California does not have it's own grid. It's part of the WRIC. They do not generate much power at all, so they import almost all of it on two heavily overloaded lines. It's only a matter of time before one of them fails, and the WRIC will be forced to disconnect California. The WRIC will not sacrifice itself to save California.

California's economy is failing. People are fleeing. Whole ranches have been just utterly abandoned. I don't like driving through it. It's grim.

My warning to Republicans is that beware of Newscum's obvious run for the 2028 presidency,
because he has quite a few firsts from his home state of California in which to use on his campaign trail.

1. “#1 in homelessness”

Mostly true.

According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD):

  • California has the largest homeless population in the United States.
  • In the most recent HUD Annual Homeless Assessment Report, California accounts for roughly 28–30% of all homeless individuals nationwide.
This is a data‑supported claim.

2. “#1 in public defecation”

No official data exists.

There is no federal or state agency that tracks “public defecation” as a measurable statistic.Claims like this usually come from:

  • Local 311 complaint data
  • Viral posts
  • Non‑scientific surveys
Because there is no standardized national metric, this claim cannot be verified.

3. “#1 in tent cities among sidewalks and public places”

No national ranking exists.

While California has large visible encampments, there is no federal dataset ranking states by “tent cities.”HUD tracks homelessness, not encampment size.

So this claim is not verifiable.

4. “#1 highest income tax in America”

True (for top marginal rate).

According to the Tax Foundation:

  • California’s top marginal income tax rate is 13.3%, the highest in the nation.
This applies to high‑income earners, not all residents.

5. “#1 for highest sales tax in America”

Partially true.

According to the Tax Foundation:

  • California has the highest statewide base sales tax (7.25%).
  • However, combined state + local rates are higher in some other states (e.g., Tennessee, Louisiana).
So the claim is true for statewide base rate, but not true for total combined rates.

6. “#1 highest gas tax in the country”

True.

According to the American Petroleum Institute (API):

  • California has the highest gasoline tax when combining excise tax + fees.
This is data‑supported.

7. “#1 highest electricity rates in the continental U.S.”

True for residential rates.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA):

  • California has one of the highest residential electricity rates in the continental U.S.
  • Only Hawaii is higher, but Hawaii is not part of the continental U.S.
So this claim is accurate.

🎯

The post uses:

  • Loaded language (“Newscum,” “lefty friends”)
  • Non‑measurable claims (“public defecation,” “tent cities”)
  • Selective framing (listing only negative metrics)
  • No citations
This indicates strong partisan bias and no reliance on neutral data sources.

Some claims are factual, but the presentation is framed to persuade, not inform.

It's only a matter of time before one of them fails, and the WRIC will be forced to disconnect California. The WRIC will not sacrifice itself to save California.

California's economy is failing. People are fleeing. Whole ranches have been just utterly abandoned. I don't like driving through it. It's grim.

1. “California does not have its own grid.”

False.

California is part of the Western Interconnection, not “WRIC.”The Western Interconnection includes 14 U.S. states, parts of Canada, and northern Mexico.

But within that system, California does operate its own major grid operator:

  • CAISO — California Independent System Operator
CAISO manages:

  • ~80% of California’s electric load
  • Its own balancing authority
  • Its own generation dispatch
  • Its own reliability planning
So California does have its own grid operator, even though it is interconnected with the Western grid.

2. “They do not generate much power at all, so they import almost all of it.”

Partially false.

According to the California Energy Commission (CEC):

  • California generates about 70–75% of the electricity it consumes.
  • It imports 25–30%, mostly from the Pacific Northwest and Southwest.
California is a large importer, but not even close to “almost all.”

3. “They import on two heavily overloaded lines.”

False.

California’s imports come through multiple major transmission corridors, not two lines.Examples include:

  • Path 66 (Pacific DC Intertie)
  • Path 65 (California–Oregon Intertie)
  • Path 46 (Arizona–California)
  • Path 27 (Nevada–California)
  • Path 61 (Pacific Northwest AC lines)
There are dozens of high‑capacity transmission paths feeding California.

No credible source states that California relies on “two overloaded lines.”

4. “The WRIC will disconnect California.”

No evidence.

There is no regulatory mechanism or precedent for disconnecting a state from the Western Interconnection for being a net importer.

Grid reliability authorities (WECC, NERC, CAISO) do not have any published plans or warnings suggesting this.

This claim is speculative, not factual.

5. “California’s economy is failing.”

False based on available economic data.

According to:

  • U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA)
  • World Bank
  • IMF
  • California Department of Finance
California remains:

  • The largest state economy in the U.S.
  • One of the top 5 economies in the world (depending on the year, typically #5 or #6)
  • A global leader in tech, entertainment, agriculture, and manufacturing
California has economic challenges, but the claim that the economy is “failing” is not supported by data.

6. “People are fleeing.”

Partially true.

California has experienced net domestic out‑migration in recent years, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

However:

  • California’s total population has not collapsed.
  • Much of the loss is offset by international immigration and births.
So “fleeing” is an exaggeration, but net outflow is real.

7. “Whole ranches have been abandoned.”

No evidence of widespread abandonment.

There are no statewide reports from:

  • USDA
  • California Department of Food & Agriculture
  • County agricultural commissioners
showing mass abandonment of ranches.

Individual properties may be abandoned for many reasons (drought, bankruptcy, consolidation), but there is no data showing a systemic statewide trend.

🎯

The claims:

  • Use absolutes (“does not generate much power,” “almost all,” “two lines,” “failing”)
  • Contain incorrect technical details
  • Mix verifiable facts (imports, population shifts) with unsupported exaggerations
  • Present subjective impressions (“It’s grim”) as if they were data
This indicates strong bias and low factual accuracy.

Looks like Sybil has decided to substitute AI for his brain again. Let's look at the accomplishments of King Newsom:
1. “#1 in homelessness”
The Homeless Industrial Complex in the SDTC is well known.
2. “#1 in public defecation”

Even the EPA decided to step in here. All that raw sewage is not just a health hazard, it is untreated sewage draining into the bay.
3. “#1 in tent cities among sidewalks and public places”
Part of the Homeless Industrial Complex.
4. “#1 highest income tax in America”
The current income tax for the SDTC is around 14%, higher than any State in the United States.

5. “#1 for highest sales tax in America”

In addition to the high income tax, the SDTC collects 7.25% sales tax. Local communities add to this tax as well.
6. “#1 highest gas tax in the country”
The SDTC currently charges $0.65/gal gas tax, the highest in the nation. In addition, refineries are leaving the SDTC due to high taxes and overregulation, producing higher gas prices than anywhere in the United States.
7. “#1 highest electricity rates in the continental U.S.”
The current average for the SDTC is $0.35/kwh, About 80% higher than anywhere in the United States. In addition, the SDTC has woefully insufficient generating capacity, requiring almost all of their power to be imported through two heavily loaded lines from the WRIC. Overloaded lines sag, and sooner or later, one will spike from brush contact, and set off a 2nd and 3rd stage relay response. The WRIC will disconnect the SDTC rather than sacrificing the grid to the SDTC.
...removing remaining AI slop...
It is NEVER a good idea to try to substitute AI for your brain.

1. “California does not have its own grid.”

Correct. The SDTC is part of the WRIC.
2. “They do not generate much power at all, so they import almost all of it.”
They do not. The SDTC has been closing power plants. They have also been requiring local power companies to purchase power from expensive and unreliable sources such as solar and wind power. This is piddle power, and woefully insufficient to carry the power demands of the SDTC. Almost all of their power is imported through two power lines from the WRIC.
3. “They import on two heavily overloaded lines.”
The two lines (interconnected) enter the SDTC through the northern border (the PNW side), and the southern line coming in from Nevada/Arizona sources. Just two lines. Any spike will result in the SDTC getting disconnected from the WRIC; and they go dark.

4. “The WRIC will disconnect California.”

The WRIC will NOT sacrifice itself to save the SDTC.
5. “California’s economy is failing.”
It already has. People are fleeing.
6. “People are fleeing.”
It is sad traveling through the SDTC.

Open sewage (human waste on sidewalks in cities), massive homeless encampments in the cities, high crime rates even in broad daylight, ongoing fraud, looting, and riots, ranches that have just been abandoned and returning to the wild because they can't get water, annual arson by the Church of Global Warming, and of course abusive taxation and overregulation of businesses, causing many of them to flee.

7. “Whole ranches have been abandoned.”
It's a sad sight. They are everywhere.
...deleted remaining AI slop...
Substituting AI for your brain is NEVER a good idea. There are enough zombies wandering around.

You’re not warning anyone about AI, you’re just mad it fact‑checked you in front of everyone. The second the facts didn’t match the story you were trying to sell, you threw a fit and blamed the tool instead of the nonsense you posted.

You’re not anti‑AI.You’re anti‑being‑proven‑wrong.

There is no such thing as 'fact check'. Buzzword fallacy.
