Should federal troops be policing the states?

The president has emergency powers to impose tariffs.
He also has the power to impose tariffs.
That's why he did his pretend financially emergency as an excuse to do what he did. The fake emergency was the basis for his misusing executive powers. Yes, in certain situations a president should change tariffs for one or a small number of countries. That is not what he did.

Under certain conditions. Emergency. Again, that is why he declared a financial emergency.
No emergency needed.
There's no evidence of that.
Yes there is. You can't make any evidence just disappear.
Is absolutely not higher and is significantly lower.
Thanks to Trump. The border is now secure.
What a dumb strawman argument. I want a secure border as much as anyone.
Lie. Fallacy fallacy.
That is a completely separate topic from Trump's fake emergencies.
What 'fake emergencies'??
Again, strawman argument. Has nothing to do with a discussion about Trump's fake emergencies.
Fallacy fallacy. What 'fake emergencies'??
They are not terrorists. We all know what a terrorist is.
Domestic terrorists are still terrorists.

I see that you're one of those whose selective love of law enforcement allows a greater degree of cognitive dissonance..........

The enormous amount of legally contrived protections for cops who violate both the law and the constitutional rights of citizens is beyond anything that the founders would have allowed.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you're a cop. The courts have said many times that cops are allowed to make mistakes in good faith, meaning all they have to say is that thought that said suspect broke a law, even though there is no law broken, and the good faith exception applies.

Cops are allowed to lie to 'suspects', but if a civilian lies to a cop during some investigation, that civilian can be charged for lying to law enforcement.

exigent circumstances

furtive movements, rapidly evolving situations

we live in a world where police can panic at the mere thought of danger to themselves, but civilians must be cool, calm, and collected with a gun in their face.

I don't expect you to acknowledge any of this as anything other than 'cops must be allowed to do their job without fear of losing their lives or livelihoods'.................which is the perfect representation of someone who is terrified of the freedom of others.
First off, “cognitive dissonance” must be the buzzword of the month at your local commie book club, because lately you libtards keep vomiting it up without a clue what it means. I’ve seen it butchered so many times it’s gotta be a DNC memo. And, as always, you’re whining without a single specific example, a classic libtard move, just hot air and hurt feelings.

Cops can lie? Boo freaking hoo. That’s one of your big grievances? You think it’s some grand betrayal of the Founding Fathers’ vision? Spell it out, please, and be specific. If you’re not guilty, a cop’s lie is about as harmful as a vegan’s fart. Just tell the truth, unless oh wait.......you’re guilty, lol.

If I’m accused of stealing a car and the cop fibs about some detail, am I gonna suddenly confess to a crime I didn’t commit? If they say my buddy in the next room ratted me out, am I gonna break down and admit to jacking a ride I never touched? Hell no. If you’re clean, their lies can’t touch you. I swear, arguing about this feels like I'm explaining colors to a toddler with crayons up their nose. Prove me wrong, give me one solid scenario where a cop’s lie screws an innocent person, and I’ll happily admit I’m wrong. Bet you won’t, because you can’t.

And let’s talk about your bleeding heart obsession with letting every thug sue cops for force you deem “excessive” from your mom’s basement. You're right about one thing, here it comes. That ties cops’ hands, makes it impossible for them to protect themselves or enforce the law, all because you’re busy simping for criminals’ “rights.” Yeah, I’ll back the cops 99.9% of the time, no contest.

Show me one case ONE where a cop went too far when the citizen followed every single order like a good little boy. Go on, I’ll wait. Never seen it. Every example you’re desperately trying to conjure up involves some mouthy, resisting loser who thinks they can swing at a cop or ignore commands and not catch a beatdown. My sympathy for those idiots drops faster than your IQ in a debate.

It’s a really simple rule: when a sworn officer tells you to do something, you do it. Follow orders, and if it’s a misunderstanding, it gets sorted later in court, not by you playing street lawyer. Even a room temperature IQ can grasp that. If a cop abuses someone who complied 100%, I’ll be out there with you waving a sign, but guess what? Never seen it happen.

Sure, no system’s perfect, and there’s always a rare exception, but your fantasy of cops hunting innocent angels is just that a fantasy for libtards who cry harder for felons than for law and order.

It is not a proper name you retarded buffoon.
Bozo is a proper name, Hugo.

Bozo the Clown is a classic American clown character who became widely popular through a franchise of locally produced television shows, particularly during the mid-20th century. Created in 1946 for a children's storytelling record album, the character was later adapted for television, gaining nationwide fame through its most popular incarnation on WGN-TV in Chicago.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll pass on the opportunity to get sucked into your downward spiral of idiotic word games and lies.

Calling out that he's a liar isn't obsessing.
Void argument fallacy. TDS. Obsession with the Church of Hate.
Mostly by misusing exec power.
Void argument fallacy. TDS. Obsession with the Church of Hate.
Great! :ROFLMAO:

I've provided many more than several. If you had an ounce of honesty in you, I wouldn't need to point out most of them.
Void argument fallacy.
His tariffs.
Tariffs aren't a lie, Void.
His handlo, specifically, of China trade agreement where China just leveraged Trump's horrible negotiating skills to agree to allowing hundreds of thousands of Chinese spies into our universities every year.
???
Yes, because he is constantly saying and doing dumb things.
Void argument fallacy. TDS. Obsession with the Church of Hate.

Why are you so obsessed?

That's not true - as I just proved.

Stop lying and deal with the facts. I know this is a blow to China - but you lying isn't going to change that.

First, there's no blow to China. China just got Trump to allow 600,000 Chinese "students" into the US each year.

Here's some more facts....

Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Declares National Emergency to Increase our Competitive Edge, Protect our Sovereignty, and Strengthen our National and Economic Security

But you're a liar.

You just deliberately lied about Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act of 1934 because you think you can deceive others to promote the interests of Communist China.

I agree that it should be zero.

It was a dumb thing for Trump to support - and one he has flip-flopped on already.

How is that "fake?" What in his statement is not entirely factual?

It's a fact that Trump used a pretend emtro justify misusing executive power to impose tariffs.

... nor does the menu at Olive Garden say it either. Read the specific laws that do say it, i.e. laws passed by Congress, who do have the Constitutional power to make those laws.

If you don't like Donald Trump having the legal authority to affix tariff values in the tariff schedule, complain to Congress and have them change the laws. Don't attack Trump for following the law to the letter.
A law can’t supersede the Constitution

yep, just what I thought. a fucking badge blowing cop sucker. especially given the fact that you resort to the 'libtard' shit without even knowing who I am. your viewpoint is skewed because you choose not to explore the 'bad' things that happen. it's what makes you a low info voter

Calling out that he's a liar isn't obsessing.
Repeatedly calling Trump a liar without having any lies as a basis is obsessive TDS.

Mostly by misusing exec power.
Repeatedly claiming that Trump is somehow misusing executive power without having any examples of abuse of executive power to support your claim is obsessive TDS.

I've provided many more than several.
You have provided none, as usual, and are lying, as usual, in claiming that you have somehow shown many.

If you had an ounce of honesty in you, I wouldn't need to point out most of them.
If you were honest to any degree, you would have already provided those examples, rather than lie about having provided many that you didn't.

His tariffs.
Trump is following the law to the letter, the law about which you know nothing.

His handlo, specifically, of China trade agreement where China just leveraged Trump's horrible negotiating skills to agree to allowing hundreds of thousands of Chinese spies into our universities every year.
Your examples have to be valid (and real) examples that show injury to the US. Losers like you don't get to merely second-guess Trump's world-class negotiating skills and claim imaginary, subjunctive-fallacy injury by pointing to how it might have otherwise been in some alternate reality that cannot be verified.

Yes, because he is constantly saying and doing dumb things.
Sorry, you don't get to slide the word "doing" in there; you have no examples of any less-than-optimal acts performed by Trump in his official duties as President. All you have is a worthless collection of "Did ya' hear what Trump said? Did ya'? Did ya'? Did ya' hear what Trump said?" and nothing more. To the best of your knowledge, you are not aware of any actions that Trump has taken that drop him to less than BEST PRESIDENT EVAH!
