The unserious war in Ukraine

After more than three years of conflict, there are still many questions that remain unanswered.

One, with a massive Air Force including strategic bombers, why use small ineffective drones?

Two, how has this war become a primitive WW I type trench warfare. The Russian missiles and massive Air Force could pound the Ukraines into the ground mercilessly.

Three, if this were a real war, would Russia be using 800 drones resulting in a mere 2 deaths?

I feel that this is becoming a huge grifting enterprise where both Ukraine and Russias leaders are gaining monetarily while gaslighting the rest of the world.

Where is the evidence of this massive loss of troops and the cemeteries they would be burying them in? Has anyone seen or recorded them? If not, why not?

Russia's Air Force and military far outnumber the Ukrainians. How is it they cannot win and the war has devolved into this stalemate which makes no sense.

Why is the media not curious about anything these days? There are never questions about what is actually happening there, but rather, cheer leading a never-ending war.

I am becoming convinced that we are being played, lied to and gaslighted.

If this war continues, we will see land drones in a year or two, which will completely change the balance of power.

The Russian Air Force has been decimated by Ukrainian air defenses, and hides far back from the front lines.

They have not been able to use their air force and navy lead for obvious reasons. Right now, both forces are in hiding as far away from Ukraine as they can get.

In theory, the Russians have three times the army of Ukraine. But the Russians have other needs for their army, where as the Ukrainians can focus their entire army on the Russians. When you look at it like that, there is closer to parity between the deployable size of the armies. The Russian advantage is that they are willing to sacrifice most of their troops in the war, where the Ukrainians would be losing a major chunk of their productive population.

Whenever troops are not doing mobile warfare, they start digging trenches. I am not as sure as you are that those trenches are the main strategy, which draws the obvious question over whether they were as successful as we thought in WWI.

What has been successful in the Ukrainian War is the combination of landmines, drones, and artillery, especially when setup 30 to 60 miles deep. We thought landmines would easily be deactivated by engineers, given time... But did not realize those engineers would be out in the open, easily spotted by drones, and then killed by artillery.

With WWI, all the artillery was relatively static, there were no tanks, and the supply lines were also static, mostly trains not trucks. Which meant that the more you advanced, the further you got from supporting artillery, and the close you got to well supplied enemy artillery.

More evidence that you don't know what you are bloviating about.
