My first reaction was to make sure that the colleges and universities did not use this as an excuse to close dialogue and to once again try to shut down any voice not speaking in support of liberalist causes... Not "vengeance".. I want to make sure that what he created does not end.

I agree, I've been grappling with intense anger since Charlie's shooting. My recent posts may hint at it, but they don't fully capture the depth of my rage. I hate that the scumbag who shot him provoked this in me. Charlie would be the first to urge forgiveness, seeing the shooter as a truly lost soul. He was a far better man than I'll ever be and comparing him to the vile scum on the left is impossible, there's no depth low enough to describe them. Nor can I think of anyone on the right who matches Charlie's caliber.

They stole a true gift from God, a man who taught so many through his interactions and the truth he spoke. He was right, when dialogue stops, violence replaces it. The cowardly murderer didn't dare face Charlie on the massive platform where he welcomed them to make their case and be heard by millions. Like many Democrats, the shooter is a hate-filled coward who knows their insane ideology can't withstand scrutiny. For someone like Charlie, so effective at changing hearts and minds, their only answer is to eliminate him and others like him. Why? They're desperate for power, and Charlie was a major obstacle. We must not let them win.

I'm disappointed that @Hume is still allowed to spew his toxic message, promoting the death cult of the Democratic Party after openly calling for more assassinations like Charlie's.
