Do conservatives really care about Kirk, or his message?

Well, he was smart enough to have a literal "hotline" to the office of the leader of the free world. What trump and Kirk do well is harness people's hatred and fear - they use it to power grab. As we've seen over the past almost decade - it works!
That takes more celebrity than ability. That has always been the case regardless of who is in power.

Well, then Kirk was smart enough to achieve celebrity. He was responsible enough to make sure his family lives comfortably. Other than that he was a racist, misogynistic prick and I disagree with everything he stood for!

"Citing multiple reports, Parade Magazine said that Kirk was estimated to be worth $12 million. Celebrity Net Worth also estimated Kirk’s net worth to be $12 million while noting that he also wrote several books, and that his career in conservative politics and media began all the way back in 2012 when he was just 18 years old."

I mean, he was a very prolific demigod.

I have grown to admire Charlie Kirk immensely since his tragic killing. Based on media characterizations, I thought he was some kind of hateful firebrand. I've watched, and I've learned about the man. He was what we want everyone to be. I don't care how much people disagreed w/ him - I did and do - but he wanted the marketplace of ideas. He used the Socratic method to get people to THINK, and to have calm & open dialogue about the issues.

In the past few days, what I have seen is many on the right USING his death to advance their own agenda, demonize Democrats, and sow further division in this country.

It's disgusting, and dishonors Kirk's life & legacy, imo. The irony as I read some of the comments sections on videos and articles - calling out the left for using "hateful" rhetoric, while also calling them DemonRats, communists, socialists, evil, and the enemy. Talking about Jesus Christ while warning people that their neighbors can be "enemies" (directly contradicting a very famous quote from Jesus about neighbors).

They care more about their agenda. There are so many hypocrites out there, who can't see themselves.
I think Charlie was a good person. He worked HARD to make America a better place. His loss will be felt for a long time. What impresses me is how many on the Right on Fox, News Max and in politics counted him as their friend. I have heard many touching stories about him. The thing that angers me most about his death is his two children will grow up without any direct memory of him. How someone could steal the father of two small children is beyond me. Only an evil person would do that. Or maybe a sick person. And no I don't think they are using Charlie's death. You see we on the Right knew all along what you are only now just learning. Charlie was a decent guy. I get a sense that they are hurt and saddened and some want revenge. I hope they calm down and realize executing Robinson won't bring Charlie back. The best thing to do is to try to honor him by continuing his work. Robinson can slowly rot away in his cell for the next 60-70 years.

You've lost this one. Yes, he was quoting the bible, but he was advocating for what it said. It's the same thing, dumb dumb.

No, Truth, truth, truth!

"In 2024, reacting to a video from YouTuber Ms. Rachel, in which she talks about the importance of "love thy neighbor" in the Bible, Kirk paraphrased a passage from Leviticus that advocates for stoning gay people, calling it "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters."

"By the way, Ms. Rachel, you might wanna crack open that Bible of yours," he said to camera. "In a lesser referenced part of the same part of scripture is…in Leviticus 18 is that, 'thou shall lay with another man, shall be stoned to death.' Just sayin'."

I accept your apology for your ignorance.

You are reading a highly edited version...JUST SAYIN

Even Stephen King soon realized he had misjudged Kirk.

Stephen King apologizes, deletes X post claiming Charlie Kirk advocated 'stoning gays to death'

Now, I know this is hard for you - but do try to follow along - it was discovered AFTER King apologized for his "incorrect" X post that he was actually correct. That Kirk actually did quote the bible, advocating for the stoning of gay people. I read the quote. I'd ask you to do it but it would involve the truth and I understand you're allergic.

I know this is very hard for you buy LINK???

"I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages," he wrote.

Pretty much what everyone here has been telling you.

<shrug> it's in the OP article. Thus the theme, "King was right"?

Reading is hard for you.

"Stephen King was right: Charlie Kirk said stoning gays was 'God's perfect law'

You lose again, SlowPain. You should be used to it by now.

That murals of Kirk are going up in the Zionist Colony when it was likely Murder Inc who ran this operation is certainly interesting.

The Ukrainians are going the other way......they are cheering his murder.

What the fuck does that have to do with what Kirk said?
A Text out of context is pretext for error. Kirk was pointing out not to cherry pick a single text. Like Ms. Rachel was doing. If you take a single verse out of context and do not compare it to the rest of the scriptures you come up with the wrong exegesis. Kirk was admonishing her that Cherry picking is bad.
