Do conservatives really care about Kirk, or his message?

I think we would all be better off if mods were non partisan,...like a judge is supposed to be. Really,....that's what Mods are,....they judge the message board.
The only rule that is really enforced is 12b so I don't see the partisan thing as very important. The Left has Phanny and the right has Damo so it all balances out. However Damo will go after both sides more than Phanny does. Just remember that the enemy of good is better.

Ok, so everyone's angry about my posts here. All the trump-worshippers, that is.

The subject of the thread is: "DO/DID CONSERVATIVES REALLY CARE ABOUT KIRK'S MESSAGE?"

You accuse me of attacking you? I see none of you speak about Kirk's actual MESSAGE and what it meant to you! So either talk about that, or bite me!

Also, have a nice day!

Oh, they're all hypocrites, Owlie! Project this greater than thou persona and are freakshows in real life! Remember the Fallwell Jr.'s? They ran Liberty University that white Christian Nationalist indoctrination center? They had to resign in scandal because Mr. Fallwell liked to watch as the missus get it on with the pool boy!

There are so many other examples of their hypocrisy. Their "do as I say, not as I do" shtick is so tiresome!
You are getting desperate. Fallwell had nothing to do with Kirk. Stick to him don't try to try some weird guilt by association thing. First you say Kirk advocated the stoning of gays when he was really cautioning against Cherry picking single Bible verses rather than looking at multiple verses for a more correct understanding. Now you are saying since Fall well was a pervert Kirk must be one too. Come on Lurch you are just desperately trying to cover up for your hate filled rhetoric like calling almost everyone on the right a Nazi or a fascist. Grow up.

No, Truth, truth, truth!

"In 2024, reacting to a video from YouTuber Ms. Rachel, in which she talks about the importance of "love thy neighbor" in the Bible, Kirk paraphrased a passage from Leviticus that advocates for stoning gay people, calling it "God's perfect law when it comes to sexual matters."

"By the way, Ms. Rachel, you might wanna crack open that Bible of yours," he said to camera. "In a lesser referenced part of the same part of scripture is…in Leviticus 18 is that, 'thou shall lay with another man, shall be stoned to death.' Just sayin'."

I accept your apology for your ignorance.
MAGA morons need to get a grip and man up by remembering the wisdom of their MAGAt leader, Joni Ernst:

How is it out of context? Did he ask for a violent criminal to be bailed out?
SO HE COULD BE QUESTIONED he wanted to know if DePape was a conservative like the left was portraying him to be for the sake of the election or just a crazy person.

ALSO: Are you against bail?

DO BETTER!

I have grown to admire Charlie Kirk immensely since his tragic killing. Based on media characterizations, I thought he was some kind of hateful firebrand. I've watched, and I've learned about the man. He was what we want everyone to be. I don't care how much people disagreed w/ him - I did and do - but he wanted the marketplace of ideas. He used the Socratic method to get people to THINK, and to have calm & open dialogue about the issues.

In the past few days, what I have seen is many on the right USING his death to advance their own agenda, demonize Democrats, and sow further division in this country.

It's disgusting, and dishonors Kirk's life & legacy, imo. The irony as I read some of the comments sections on videos and articles - calling out the left for using "hateful" rhetoric, while also calling them DemonRats, communists, socialists, evil, and the enemy. Talking about Jesus Christ while warning people that their neighbors can be "enemies" (directly contradicting a very famous quote from Jesus about neighbors).

They care more about their agenda. There are so many hypocrites out there, who can't see themselves.
Trump and the Maga world is just trying to politicize Kirk situation for political gain.

You mean far left.

Pelosi, a Democrat, posted that "the horrific shooting today at Utah Valley University is reprehensible. Political violence has absolutely no place in our nation."

Gabrielle Giffords

The former U.S. representative, a Democrat, suffered a serious brain injury from a 2011 shooting while meeting with constituents at a shopping center in her Arizona congressional district. She survived and has taken up the cause of fighting gun violence.

Giffords posted on social media that she was "horrified" to hear of Kirk's shooting.

"Democratic societies will always have political disagreements," she wrote, "but we must never allow America to become a country that confronts those disagreements with violence."

"We must speak with moral clarity," Shapiro wrote on X. "The attack on Charlie Kirk is horrifying and this growing type of unconscionable violence cannot be allowed in our society."

"We should all come together to stand up against any and all forms of political violence," Whitmer wrote on social media.

There you have it... Democrats condemning the assassination.
Gifford's shooter was a paranoid schizophrenic that was anti government because he thought the government was trying to control his thoughts. Gifford represented the government to him. I consider her shooting a mental health issue not a political issue.

Your opinion is noted. It might be correct.

I made a point.

Just look at Noah's Ark , and explain how's it's possible??????
Well, they do believe in magic which they call miracles. If your god is all powerful that story has no real contradictions. I get what you are saying, but calling it "errors" means nothing to folks that believe their god is all powerful. If they believe the story, saying the boat isn't big enough would not be enough to deter that belief, "god is like Time Lords and can make the inside as large as he needs it" or some other such will be said.

Now if you said the Bible said the world was flat, you'd have an "error" but the allegorical stories? Not so much.

I have to agree with you..
