RIP Robert Redford

He and Paul Newman were special actors for me. I felt terrible when hearing the news. May he rest in peace.
When they die of old age it makes you realize you are not for behind them.

I just found out a close friend of mine finally died to liver cancer yesterday. He was a very good man. My only comfort is he lived long enough to see his daughter graduate from veterinary school and his son graduate from medical school and enter an orthopedic residency.

Father time eventually get us all.

My condolences for your loss.

Yes, he was a lefty. However, he put his money where his mouth was. So, he wasn’t a hypocrite at least.

He was also smart enough to NOT live in California. He had been in Utah for decades.

It does indeed. Probably why I marvel each time I wake up in the morning.

Sorry to hear about your friend, but glad he was able to see the beginnings of success for his kids.

The Sting! Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid! That movie with him and Michelle Pfeiffer where he played an apprentice to Pfiffer's character! He's a part of my youth - and a happy part - RIP, Mr. Redford!
Sneakers is a movie that is one my favorites of his (beyond the ones you name) and i think is way under rated. It proves especially prescient with its theme that it 'was all about the Data' and he who controlled it could control the world.

Ben Kingsley, Dan Aykroyd, Sidney Poitier, River Phoenix, all round out this great cast.
