You think the entire investigation was flubbed because he tweeted they had someone in custody that was later released? (Yes, he did say it was the perp, and that was stoopid, but it was nearly immediately retracted after the guy was released).
I hear what you are saying. You can be a media influencer or the head of the FBI, not both and he's trying to be both. That doesn't change that they were going to catch this kid even if he didn't turn himself in. They had the gun, the guy knew it was going to happen because of that, and he turned himself in instead. Saying the entire FBI "flubbed" an investigation because Kash tweeted something is absurd. That's like saying the entire armed forces are full of idiots because you don't like Trump's tweets (or whatever you call the crap on Truth Social).
The kids dad turned him in. Kirk's murderer was caught in spite of Patel, not because of him. Patel and Bongino should go back to podcasting propaganda.

I told you the day before he was turned in, on this very website that his family knows who it is because they published video and images and that he'd be turned in, then he was. That was the FBI doing their job. Even if you don't like Patel, the FBI agents were still doing their job well.

I have told you repeatedly, he is whatever you want him to be, but the FBI agents were doing their jobs and the guy was caught because of it. Those images were not found magically by the father... They were published by the investigation. The FBI did their jobs well, even despite Patel's tweet.
"The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America." The DOJ is the executive power, and important to see that the Constitution is unambiguous, using "the", not "some" or "most", and all but declaring ownership. There has been this unofficial, long standing attempt to appear "independent" over the years, but it is all theater. Before Pam Bondi there was the Hispanic guy under George W. Bush who rubber stamped waterboarding.
