I agree. It's nice that there are some intelligent people around here to talk to. T A gardher is a lost cause. Also, many of the wealthy invest in real estate. So right now there are around 500,000 more home sellers than there are home buyers. Another point is that there are around 500.000 to 600,000 homeless people in the U.S. (Around 50% of whom came from the foster care system) Yet there are around 14.9 million vacant homes in the U.S.

Corn Pop’s a perfect example of why one should not covet. Among other things, it’s because human beings are hardwired to turn sour and bitter, feeding hatred and jealousy, pure and simple. It’s really his own failures that have impeded his ability to achieve his dreams, his choice. (when and if he was ever capable of dreaming). When he sees others who have, it’s his brain-washed mind immediately jumps to countless assumptions about how that person achieved what he hasn’t.
He is a classic narcissist as well, so he sees himself as smarter, more logical, grounded, and capable. He’s just all around a better human being than any of those “vile” men or women who have it all. He completely ignores the fact that that person did nothing more than make voluntary exchanges with people voluntarily agreeing to do so, and made a series of choices about what to do with the profits and then repeats step one. Nobody is forced to buy any service or product they don’t want or need, unless you include the government.
Of course, it’s not news that thou must covet' is at the very core of the Marxist agenda. It’s essential that the drones they worked so hard to create are consumed with jealousy, anger, and bitterness. They must buy into the oppressor versus oppressed narrative first and foremost, then it’s private property and the complete takeover of all industry. The inevitable: “No matter how hard we try, we can’t get these greedy pigs to do the right thing, so the only moral thing to do is let the kind and just central government take over.” All of this, of course, is preceded by creating so much carnage that people finally give in and give up their guns,(except those that need 'extra persuasion') a must-do for little tyrannical scumbags thirsty for nothing but power and control.
All of that starts with millions of dumbass Corn Pops, mad at the greatest country to ever exist in all of human history, because they think the majority of the wealth they covet is ill-gotten. They believe there’s a magic number, a limit that one should be able to amass, or, even dumber, that there is someone out there who can determine and set the 'too-much-money number.'
The list of other misconceptions and outright falsehoods is very long, and the level of indoctrination is very high. We’ve got our work cut out for us, no doubt. Obviously, it’s far easier to be on the left. How intelligent does one need to be to offer free shit, tell people that others will pay for it, and, by the way, those evil scum deserve to have their wealth taken away to pay your way? Sounds great to an already softened-up student who has been told America is inherently racist, greedy, with a Nazi in the White House. Wake up drones.

No, you become a billionaire by finding something that hasn't been done before and building that something into a business empire. The Vanderbilts did it with railroads. Carnage did it with steel. Edison did it with electricity. Gates did it with computer software. The pattern is pretty consistent. You grow great wealth by finding the next great thing that nobody before has done and make it into a successful industry.
They didn't "take" money from others but rather generated great wealth out of their ideas by hard work. Most people will not have the drive, ideas, knowledge, or perseverance to do this. Most are satisfied to build sufficient wealth to live comfortably. The lazy, stupid, indolent, and unwilling languish in mediocrity and poverty. That's their problem, not mine, not yours. If YOU want to give them money fine by me. Just don't use government to force ME to give them money.
Now, there are some billionaires that inherit their money, about a third of them. These tend to live in places and countries where there is lots of big government, lots of social-welfare state, and not a lot of innovation and enterprise. So, if you want an oligarchy or plutocracy, implement more government, more social-welfare, and move towards a socialist society.

So? I've invested in real estate. I was, at one time, buying lots that were "unbuildable," and making them buildable. This entailed variously, doing serious cut and fill, build up for flood plains, or other work on them that would result in a stable, compacted, pad that met code requirements and could be built on. Such lots are relatively cheap.

They tend to aggregate in deep blue states where social-welfare benefits are the greatest like California, New York, or Illinois. That is, they go where they can live off the government.

I will also add that it's likely, almost certain, that veterans are grossly overrepresented in homeless statistics. This is due to several reasons:
1. Almost all surveys use self-reporting on veteran status. That is, the surveyors don't check the veracity of the respondent and simply accept their word on it.
2. Veterans as a group are better educated, more motivated, and in better health than the general population.
3. Included in those with veteran status are ex-military who were fuck ups and discharged from the service for cause. While they retain some status as veterans, they really aren't indicative of veterans who served honorably.

The problem with you Marxists is that you focus on the irrlevancies of physical work, and don't focus on the adding of value. When the CEO adds 3,654x the value of someone, it shouldn't come as any surprise that the CEO's compensation is similarly in the same ballpark.

If you want to think that even people like Vanderbilt, Carnegie, Edison, Gates, and Trump "grew" great wealth and did it without fucking people who helped them become vastly wealthy; fucking others who should have been paid more for work done for him/her; fucking customers who should not have had to pay nearly as much as they could extract...and all sorts of other shit that a decent person would not do...fine with me. We need innocent, naive people as well as people willing to see the reality of our chosen economic system.

Perhaps some of what you said is correct...and some of what I GUESSSED is correct also. They are not mutually exclusive. The bottom line is that it seems most rich people seem to become rich in America in one of three ways: As I mentioned above, by fucking others; by being born with it; or by marrying into it.
The vast, unnecessary wealth and the unfortunate toddlers dying in bodies distorted by hunger can co-exist. BUT THE FACT THAT IT DOES AND YET STILL THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO FIND REASONS TO DEFEND IT HAPPENING...SUCKS LIKE A GIGANTIC BLACK HOLE.
