FBI Director Kash Patel to begin two days of questioning on Tuesday from congressional committees about his tenure leading the FBI.

"FBI Director Kash Patel faced questions about the assassination of conservative activist and influencer Charlie Kirk last week -- including that other people could be involved -- when he appeared before a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday.

In his appearance, his first in two days of hearings on Capitol Hill, Patel addressed his handling of the Kirk investigation -- something he faced criticism for after he shared on social media at one point that a suspect was in custody, but then had to backtrack an hour and a half later."

Patel is an idiot! Tweeting rumors during a live manhunt! He's a fool, @Damocles , sorry, man, but he is. He has no business being FBI director.
 
"Ranking Member Dick Durbin, a Democrat, slammed Patel during his opening remarks on Tuesday, saying Patel sparked "mass confusion" in his posts about Kirk's killing. Patel stood by his performance, touting the fact that Kirk's suspected shooter was caught in less than 36 hours."

Good job, Durbin! It's great to see lawmakers doing their job instead of making up scandals, like Benghazi!
 

The Epstein investigation​

Patel is facing questions on a host of other issues while he has been at the helm of the FBI, including the handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

The Trump administration has been dealing with blowback it received from MAGA supporters for its decision to not release more materials related to the investigation into Epstein, the wealthy financier and convicted sex offender who died by suicide in jail in 2019.

Oooh! I think Patel is stupid enough to let it slip he knows something about Epstein's suicide and that disgusting trip Blanche took to coach Maxwell how to lie.

Yes, but Patel still took credit. And even though we know the kid probably acted alone, Patel is pounding his chest in front of congress like there's some "large leftist cabal" behind Kirk's murder.

He embarrassed himself and now needs to salvage what he can. How many FBI agents were shaking their heads watching this circus?

Agreed, but that goes for most, if not all, of Trump's cabinet whose only requirement is to have a purty mouth to kiss Big Daddy's ass.

Oh, I also though Patel's testemony about how Maxwell was moved to a club fed by the Bureau of Prison's and that the trump administration had nothing to do with it! That was the biggest pile of bullshit and even some of your fellow trump cultists aren't liking that!

Patel has zero business being near the FBI, let alone, running it!

He would have nothing to do with it. The Bureau of Prisons decides where inmates get placed, not the FBI.
