Wasn’t one tweet, but a serious of racist tweets, and the one that got her axed was calling Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, who is Black, the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.”
Now how does that compare to what Kimmel said, “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it”

I did. Regardless of whether you found her words offensive you could have defended her free speech. But she suffered the consequences you don’t want Kimmel to suffer. You are a hypocrite

I don't actually know what Kimmel said that got him fired. I just know a bit of what journalist Matt Taibbi had to say about it, which was essentially that Kimmel had his excesses, but firing him and the apparent reason it was done wasn't making Disney or the Administration look good. Here's what I read on that from Taibbi (I only see the non paid portion):

Trump has standards when it comes to women. They may be sleazy as hell, but he's not going to have one that's an ugly porker of a sow. Everybody with any sense is bolting from NYC and NY in general. The Left has that effect on populations under their control.

To me the difference is when Barr was cancelled it was done without threats from the President and FCC.
