But they did not do it for political ends or personal gain, they were not attacking individuals or those that criticize them, huge difference, and I’d tike whatever any big tech mogul with a grain of salt,”Zuck” also said his site monitors hate speech

Two things.

Kimmel said exactly what i said, right after Kirk was shot, and we had no information YET and magats here were still labeling the killer as 'the left', 'democrat', etc. Just as i did his comment was basically 'magats do not care about Kirk's death and only care to make sure everyone knows the killer was not a magat'.

That statement is 100% accurate and not in any way inflammatory as it was true.

Second, no, what i am saying is that this rise of 'liar media', which spins nothing but "alternative facts" is by majority inhabiting the far right and bumps right up to Fox.

I see it as a very real and genuine threat and yet saw no real way for gov't to deal with it due to free speech limitations.

What Trump and his Admin and the FTC are doing is carving a path that can be used as a hammer on the right in Dem administrations that follow. So Dem's need to stop fighting it and embrace it as correct. Make this bipartisan and make it precedent.

Whatever price the left may pay, it will be 100 times worse on the right and that is a good thing.
