Kimmel averages 1.7 million viewers with less than 260,000 in the coveted 25-54 demographic. Kimmel's audience is taking a nose dive. I suspect this controversy will temporary help his rating but only temporarily.

Greg Gutfield averages 3.31 million a night on CABLE and 360,000 25-54 year old viewers. And cost much less to produce.

Two things, both which I already covered, first, people watch Kimmel the next day on the Internet, and those ratings are based upon the TV broadcast, where he also has two other direct competitors. His numbers beat the overall majority of all 11:30 programming

Second, Gutifield is on in prime time, not at 11:30, and he has a lead in audience, not local programming
