Elsewhere, (and maybe here too) in all of my talk against Trump and the wealthy, I have been accused of doing so just because I envy the wealthy. But that doesn't mean I agree with how the wealthiest got that way. Though getting back to the point, as I said, I do envy the wealthy. But things are much worse than that for me. Though I was always poor, right now I am on Social Security. So what that means is that I envy the lower middle class. (Let alone the wealthy) What is I envy about them? I envy that they were able to afford to have a family. I envy that they are able to afford to drive a car. I envy that they have a house to live in. I envy that they don't have to eat non filling high calorie food. I envy that they are able to wash their clothes at home. I envy that they are able to buy better clothing and shoes than I can. I envy that they (probably) never had to experience homelessness like I have. I envy that they are able to afford to own a pet, etc.

Yet despite all that, apparently the poor aren't poor enough for Trump. As I said elsewhere, with his plans to both privatize and cut Social Security, cut Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. All to give more money to the wealthy who don't need it. It absolutely disgusts me. How can Trump or his supporters be so devoid of any shred of morality? Sure, you could just blame it on greed. But the greed excuse can only get you so far. What the wealthy are doing in our society has delved into the realm of the demonic! I don't like much of what FDR did. But I totally agree with his ideas on a Second Bill Of Economic Rights.

The Pullman towns were a variant of government public housing projects, or socialist funding of housing, like Section 8. They have the same thing going on.
