Do you think they have much on Comey?

Zero - the chances of a conviction are zero. The first US Attorney trump appointed trump them fired because they said there was no case.

So, what did trump/Bondi do? They appointed one of trump's former attorneys, a stooge, an insurance lawyer with zero prosecutorial experience who was able to get a grand jury to indict 2 our of 3 charges.

If this goes to trial - and I really hope it does, it will do nothing but embarrass the fuck out of trump and his administration.
trump simply cannot help himself. I'm no fan of Comey ever since he put his thumb on the scale for trump, but Comey will make trump wish he never fucked with someone who has so much inside info on him.

But after he got away with not releasing the Epstein files, I do not see much that will get people to turn on him.
A slight disagreement. He didn't get away from releasing the Epstein files. He's still running from them.

Run, Donnie, Run!

My guess is the US Attorney will try to make any testimony private, citing "national security concerns", Comey's legal team will not for it - and trump's attorney will have to find a safe exit. trump will blame the judge or some shit like he always does!

All accurate but It is far worse than that.

There is an Inspector General report which did a full investigation of this and found it was McCabe and NOT Comey who was not being fully honest or disclosing.

So if the basis of these charges is over the Congress question by Ted Cruz summarized ast, 'it is either McCabe lied or you (Comey) lied, so which is it?', and the DoJ is trying to push it was Comey that lied that creates a 'he said/ he said' dispute between Comey and McCabe's claims. And while a jury can render findings in such disputes, to get to beyond a 'reasonable doubt' requires some pretty substantive evidence. This IG report is substantive evidence the other way.

AI Summary:

What the IG Report Found / Concluded

  • McCabe authorized two FBI officials to speak with a reporter for The Wall Street Journal regarding the investigation; however, McCabe later denied or minimized this authorization in various statements. Politico+3CNBC+3The Washington Post+3
  • McCabe “Lacked candor” on multiple occasions:
    • With Comey (his boss) when asked if he had authorized disclosure; he gave an account that led Comey to believe McCabe wasn’t involved. Politico+1
    • With internal FBI/DOJ/IG investigators—including under oath—about his awareness and involvement. Vox+3CBS News+3The Washington Post+3
  • The report determined that Comey’s account was more credible than McCabe’s where their stories diverged. The IG found that “the overwhelming weight of the evidence” supported Comey’s version in key respects. Politico+2CNBC+2
  • The authorization to the media (via the two officials McCabe approved) was found to have violated policy, primarily because of how and when the disclosure was made and McCabe’s representations regarding it. CNBC+2The Washington Post+2
  • McCabe changed his story over time: initially some denials of knowledge / authorization; later admissions or partial acknowledgments.

Fortunately for Comey but not for justice over all to expose the Trump DoJ this will almost certainly be thrown out pre trial. This new appointed US Attorney seems to be improperly appointed, in the same way Alina Habba was and any indictment she signed was invalid. The time for Trump Admin to have in an interim US Attorney had ended and since no one was confirmed it is the judiciary who has to appoint the next interim US Attorney until the Senate confirms one.

So this will likely be thrown out, and that means the time to bring this case expires and the Trump Admin will claim a win that only biased judge threw out based on a technicality to protect COmey.

There are at least two other reasons, pre trial that Comey could likely get it thrown out but i think it does not get passed that one.

Are you willing to bet that Comey's case will crash and burn for trump or are you going to run away again like the frightened little beeyach you are?

I'm going to take a "wild guess" and predict I'm going to see your skid marks as you limp away as fast as you can :)
are you willing to admit you have egg on your face?

do you have a shed of integrity? Oh - lets bet with a shit stain that never admits mistakes or is ever wrong

Great synopsis. Trying to saddle Comey with something McCabe did.

I love the classy way Comey told Trump, "come and get me, I don't scare".

So, again. No courage of your convictions - typically cowardly trumptard.

You won't be getting any more responses from me today, troll.
