The FBI has fired agents who were photographed kneeling during a racial justice protest in Washington that followed the 2020 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, three people familiar with the matter said Friday.

The bureau last spring had reassigned the agents but has since fired them, said the people, who insisted on anonymity to discuss personnel matters with The Associated Press.

The number of FBI employees terminated was not immediately clear, but two people said it was roughly 20.

The photographs at issue showed a group of agents taking a knee in apparent solidarity during one of the demonstrations following the May 2020 killing of Floyd, a death that led to a national reckoning over policing and racial injustice and sparked widespread anger after millions of people saw video of the arrest.

An FBI spokesman declined to comment Friday.

The firings come amid a broader personnel purge at the bureau as Director Kash Patel works to reshape the nation’s premier federal law enforcement agency.

So, are we safer now?
Yes absolutely. Any time you have fewer imbeciles in positions of power we are all safer. George Floyd was not a good guy. In fact he was a lawless violent drug addict and thief who once stuck a gun straight into the stomach of a pregnant woman and demanded she give him all of her money. Does that sound like a GOOD GUY to you? Does that sound like someone who deserves a statue? Or to kneel in front of? And the paintings,....the absolute absurdity of it all,...depictions of Floyd with angel wings and a Halo  Really makes me sad how detached from reality our society has become. Just to do a comparison......I liked Charlie Kirk and thought he was a decent Human being that tried to do right for the most part........do I think he should have a statue? Naw,...not really. Would I ever kneel in honor of him? NO WAY. In fact,....I wouldn't kneel for any person past or present in this world,....NOBODY. The only entity I kneel for is God the father, ...and Jesus Christ the savior. So yeah,...we are safer.

Good!
So, are we safer now?
Yes.
But we have lost experienced people. And it's not the only area we've lost them in. Tulsi has been orchestrating a brain drain in our intel community as well.

I don't think we're safer.
Experienced at what? Investigating PTA parents? :dunno:
You do not have the intellect of Tulsi Gabbard. She is stellar. You are in no position to judge her.
You may as well just STFU with that, desh Jr.
That woman would make a good president, and you are a blind partisan idiot, k?
BIG difference.
You are aware she was the Democrat governor of Hawaii, correct? :rolleyes2:
