King Charles Resigns Keir Starmer! tides of history turn holy heck

do you deny the king criticized the labor government?
Yes, I deny your fake Youtube videos claim. The closest I could find was a complaint about trump's visit being a "distraction", which is a criticisms of Labour, but more so a criticism of trump.

Guess where many of our own Bill Of Rights Amendments came from? ....
The States.

The primary UK Bill of Rights refers to the Bill of Rights 1689, a foundational document of the UK constitution that limits the power of the monarchy and Parliament, established key liberties like free elections and parliamentary free speech, and affirmed rights such as freedom from cruel punishment and taxation without parliamentary consent. It arose from the Glorious Revolution of 1688 and was a statutory restatement of the Declaration of Right. In addition to the historical Bill of Rights 1689, discussions about a more modern UK Bill of Rights have occurred periodically, most recently with the proposed Bill of Rights Bill 2022, which aimed to replace the Human Rights Act 1998.
The UK doesn't have a constitution. It does not have the Bill of Rights either. You seem to be conflating the UK with the US.

the truth is tariffs are smart, and globalism only serves the Uber-Rich. and no, that's not rich Uber drivers.
Tariffs help the local rich by sheltering them from competition. Brazil is full of local rich who would be destroyed if they had to compete with the rest of the world.

Tariffs do nothing good for Uber drivers, only bad things. Their jobs are not protected by tariffs, but by the need to be local to do the job. Like many services, their service requires proximity. Tariffs run up the price of goods, which means the Uber driver's pay goes less far.

If they are the only employers, they can drive down wages. That is the other thing tariffs do, drive down wages. It all becomes far more feudalistic, with a lot of crony capitalism and rent seeking.

When the Constitution was decided, most Americans owned their won farms and businesses; they were no big giant employers to collude and fix prices; the wealthy were traders and import/export dealers. It was an entirely different economy, and the majority were leery of Wall Street types and bankers, and didn't allow them to run rampant and suck the life out the real economy like they do today.
