RFK Jr. EXPOSES Former CDC Vaccine Chief Dr. Demetre Daskalakis — Withheld Funds from Texas Measles Response

So according to Kennedy, he told the guy in charge of immunization to "send money to Texas"... Does Kennedy have any idea how government works? Random doctors cannot just "send money."

He wasn't asking some random doctor to send money to Texas. The subsequent quotes are all from the article linked to in the opening post:
**
They’re also criticizing you for firing some people. One of them was the previous CDC Director of Immunization — somebody who was a self-proclaimed Satanist and had a really strange lifestyle. But more importantly, he was responsible for so many of these decisions. Can you talk about that?”

RFK Jr.:
“I mean, that individual actually came to my attention early on during the measles outbreak. I promised Governor Abbott to send badly needed money and help down to Texas.

And this individual blocked that money for a month. I couldn’t figure out what was happening. I gave the order. I’m running this agency. How come nothing’s happening?

**

He also pointed out that this same guy was withholding vaccine safety data:
**
Then we tried to get the Vaccine Safety Data Link — the data the CDC supposedly uses to make good decisions on whether vaccines are hurting people and whether there are side effects. For seven months, he stonewalled us so we could not get that data.
**

He did more terrible things too:
**
He’s also the individual who runs the VAERS system — the surveillance system for injuries that captures, according to the CDC’s own study, fewer than 1% of vaccine injuries. This is malpractice.

These are the people who ordered our children to walk around in masks. They’re the people who closed our schools. They’re the people who imposed social distancing with no science, shut down our businesses — and they need to go.

We need new blood. We need people committed to public health, integrity, and gold standard science.”

He wasn't asking some random doctor to send money to Texas.
He asked the Chief of Immunology to send money to Texas... What money, for what? Congress allocates money, and then bureaucrats can use it for generally what it was intended for. So Daskalakis could vaccinate people in Texas with the money he oversaw, but that is about it.

First of all, I'm not sure that RFK Jr. personally asked the Chief of Immunology anything. Here's what RFK Jr. said on the matter of money to Texas:

So RFK Jr. stated that he promised Governor Abbott to send badly needed money. He wasn't clear who he told in HHS to get this done.

RFK Jr. apparently came to the conclusion that CDC vaccine chief Demetre "actively stonewalled life-saving funds meant for Texas during a dangerous measles outbreak", according to Jim Hoft, the author of the Gateway Pundit article. Hoft doesn't specify how he came to that conclusion, but I suspect RFK Jr.'s quote above may well have been the reason.

And as mentioned in post #6, this was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to Demetre's malfeasance.

According to any reasonable watchdog who monitors the veracity of news sources. Gatewaypundit is extreme conspiracy, extreme right, extreme non-truth.

Always

Ground News, which I've come to like to some extent and even decided to get a minimal subscription to, classifies Gateway Pundit as "far right", but it says nothing of "extreme" anything. Mediabiasfactcheck.com does classify it as "extreme", but I've had disagreements with that site for years. Even made a thread about it here a few years ago:

Ground News actually introduced me to an article that I think is slightly better than the one from Gateway Pundit, as it quotes more of what RFK Jr. said in his interview with Fox News:

Ground News classifies World Tribune as on the right.

Kennedy claims he ordered the Chief of Immunology to send money to Texas, and that the Chief of Immunology did not. The claim does not make sense on the face of it. Why would someone who gets vaccines approved have money to send to Texas? What money would he send?

Kennedy also claims that the former head of the CDC said she was not an honest person. She denies that, and again, it does not make sense.

Kennedy makes bizarre claims.

Kennedy claims he ordered the Chief of Immunology to send money to Texas [snip]

From what I've read, it appears you are mistaken. Can you quote him saying that he "ordered the Chief of Immunology to send money to Texas"?

I -do- have a quote alleged to be a direct quote from him on the matter of sending money to Texas. Here it is:
**

I am of the belief, that Trump not only wants a race war, but he also wants another pandemic that only he and he alone will control. There is no reason on earth this nation with all its worldly scientist and the once prestigious CDC, who helped stop the spread of HIV and came up with a Covid vaccine, is now battling measles and other childhood diseases. 1760283385834.png
