Leteicia James has been

Then stop pissing and moaning and go do some research. You don't know enough about the subject to assume this isn't about fraud. Let me know after you have educated yourself and we can talk some more.

If she ends up being found innocent - will you post about it? Or will you just ignore & onto the next?

I'm pissing & moaning because this is just ONE of a clear list. You know that, right?

She broke the law and as she said multiple times. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
Non-answer. When you say “many other Americans have been trialed and convicted for doing the exact same thing…”,

First - You really don’t know how many, if there are many at all.
Second - In those “many” convictions, how often has the president hired his own personal lawyer to get an indictment?

Whataboutism. Fat Leticia violated the law. She needs to be prosecuted. That is the subject of this thread.

There has been no evidence presented yet that Latisha violated any law so your statement is a lie.

Are you willing to bet on this case? I say it get thrown out and never makes it to a jury. We both agree to ask Damo to enforce the bet on the loser if they do not comply. Ave and sig bet for 6 months?

If you actually believe the BS you state, as if fact, this should be a no brainer for you but we all know you will duck this.

Same goes to you. Stop pissing and moaning and actually do some research as you do not understand what a law like this requires for it to be a crime.

Beyond a signed doc you must also have proof of intent. Show us what you got on that of stop pissing and moaning.

On house number one in Virginia she claimed it as a primary resident on both mortgage and insurance documents and claimed it as rental property NEVER occupied by her on her IRS documents and she could not LEGALLY live there and be the New York AG at the same time. On her second home in Virginia she signed a rider that swore she would not use that property as a timeshare or as rental property. You can't get more intent than that you idiot.

Incorrect and once again you show you are stupid and should not speak about law.

Simply stating what happened IS NOT ENOUGH to establish a crime.

if you want to establish the crime you claiming you must have factual proof she did not buy intending to live in the home and then simply CHANGED HER MIND.

What you CANNOT DO, is tell us, to you it is clear and you MUST provide the FACTS AND PROOF of her intent.

So what is your proof. Cite it. And lets start with the easier one for where it was not Letisha who signed the doc's and it was her niece with a power of attorney who did.

Share your proof on that one that Letisha intended to lie thru what her niece signed.

So it isn't retribution if she committed the crime. Presidents swear that they will faithfully see that the laws are enforced.

See the FHFA criminal referral BITCH!

No career prosecutor would touch it because they thought it had no merit. So, he removes them and puts his real estate lawyer in charge. Retribution through and through.

Illegal
Abuse of power
Impeachable

You have ZERO credibility, Maynard. Best to shut the fuck up and move on to your other cultist topics.

Comey's Son in Law was a boss in U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Lot's of reasons career attorneys would not pursue this case. Not to mention lawyers tend to be Democrats in Virginia.

Elections have consequences.

AI Summary:

The public reporting that Letitia James signed a power of attorney (POA) on August 17, 2023 authorizing her niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, to act on her behalf in connection with the purchase of a Norfolk, Virginia property. Virginia Business+2Newsweek+2 is verified.

The POA includes the statement, “I hereby declare that I intend to occupy this property as my principal residence.” Newsweek+2White Collar Fraud+2 (*this was the Niece's signed declaration [QP addition])

However, in the lead up to these charges James reportedly provided the prior Prosecutor earlier mortgage/loan application materials, James indicated “no” to the question of whether she would occupy the property as her primary residence. CBS News+1, which is cited as a core reason as to why that office refused to Prosecute because those documents were signed by James and not by the niece and thus would speak to James intent in a way the niece's signing would not.

So in short:

  • Yes, she gave her niece POA, which includes a home-purchase declaration.
  • But the POA’s declaration seems at odds with other documents.
  • James’ defense says the POA declaration was a mistake. White Collar Fraud+1

Yes — that allegation appears in media accounts of the controversy.

Key points from reporting:

  • A power-of-attorney (POA) document signed by James on August 17, 2023 gave her niece, Shamice Thompson-Hairston, the authority to execute documents related to the purchase of a Norfolk, Virginia, home. New York Post+3https://www.wcax.com+3National Mortgage Professional+3
  • That POA document included a declaration by James that she “intend[ed] to occupy this property as my principal residence.” ABC News+3https://www.wcax.com+3National Mortgage Professional+3
  • However, James’s defenses and other documents suggest she contends that this was a clerical error (i.e. it “mistakenly stated” her as occupying the property) and that contemporaneous emails to the mortgage broker explicitly stated that the property “WILL NOT be my primary residence,” but rather her niece’s. https://www.wcax.com+2ABC News+2
  • Reportedly, the power-of-attorney document “was never considered by the loan officers” who approved the mortgage. ABC News
So, in short: Yes, there is reporting that James gave POA to her niece, who then executed the home purchase declarations (including a residence declaration), but whether that is legally or factually accurate — or how much weight it carries in the case — is disputed and is part of the defense’s argument.
