IF WE EVER HAD A LEAK OF THIS CHAT WE WOULD BE COOKED’:

Leaders of Young Republican groups around the country sent hundreds of racist and hateful messages over the course of seven months — and the New York GOP is at the center of it.

They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and joked about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.

They used the n-word, referred to rape as “epic” — and even openly considered what would happen if their toxic group chat got leaked.

Members of the New York State Young Republicans — who Rep. Elise Stefanik, the GOP’s likely candidate for governor, called “the backbone of our party” — were more prominent in the chat than any other state’s chapter.

Gov. Kathy Hochul condemned the messages — and Stefanik — while speaking with reporters today at an unrelated event.

“These are racist, sexist, disgusting remarks,” Hochul said. “We have a leader from the Republican Party in this state, the highest ranking individual who, in the backdrop of all this, calls one of our candidates for mayor, a jihadist and a terrorist, and then somehow says, ‘Oh, what they said, these young Republicans, was wrong. Look at what you say yourself.”

Hochul then said: “This bullshit has to stop,” and left the gaggle of reporters.

Brooklyn Democratic Rep. Yvette Clarke, the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, also condemned the chat after POLITICO shared excerpts with her.

“The leadership of the Republican Party needs to really take a look in the mirror at what they are cultivating among this next generation,” she said.

Peter Giunta, who up until publication of the story was chief of staff to Staten Island Assemblymember Mike Reilly, was the ringleader of the chat. He told a fellow GOP-er “I love Hitler” in one message and said that “If your pilot is a she and she looks ten shades darker than someone from Sicily, just end it there. Scream the no no word.” Reilly told Playbook in a statement today that “Mr. Giunta’s assignment in my office has ended.”

a bunch of high school and college kids said immature things. wow, totally shocking!!!!!

this is only news because the toxic piece of shit Democratic Party is running someone just as bad - and they can't admit he has no business holding power

so here we are.

the most pathetic form of whataboutism ever

Joseph Maligno, whose Linkedin account previously said he worked for Staten Island Judge Mary A. Kavanagh, talked about luring political opponents into the “showers” and how “Gas chambers don’t fit the Hitler aesthetic.” Kavanagh and Maligno did not immediately respond to requests for comments. A spokesperson for the Office of Court Administration said Maligno is no longer employed at his job.

“Elise Stefanik can’t hide behind staff to denounce the antisemitic, racist, hateful individuals she endorsed, funded, and praised as the ‘backbone’ of the Republican Party,” Hochul’s campaign spokesperson, Sarafina Chitika, said. “These are her people who said ‘I love Hitler’ and named her their congresswoman of the year — an award she still hasn’t returned. Stefanik’s silence tells New Yorkers where she stands and who she stands with.”

Nick Fuentes Says Leaked Young Republican Chats Prove 'Everyone's A Groyper Now'

On Tuesday, Politico reporters Jason Beeferman and Emily Ngo published a story based on thousands of leaked messages from a group chat populated by young Republican activists:

Leaders of Young Republican groups throughout the country worried what would happen if their Telegram chat ever got leaked, but they kept typing anyway.

They referred to Black people as monkeys and “the watermelon people” and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies and driving them to suicide and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.
Other racist and antisemitic far-right commentators were quick to applaud and defend these views, and to praise Vice President J.D. Vance for downplaying the comments.

On Tuesday night, Nick Fuentes—the Hitler-loving racist, misogynistic, antisemitic, homophobic, Christian nationalist, fascist, white nationalist who once dined with President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago—cited the Politico story as evidence that those who share his views are now embedded not only throughout the right-wing movement but within the Republican establishment as well.

This would be more of a story if he refused to fire him after text comments that included such a thing....

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott (R) called on a state senator to resign after a Politico report on a Young Republican group chat.

“The hateful statements made in this group chat are disgusting and unacceptable. The vile, racist, bigoted, and antisemitic dialogue that has been reported is deeply disturbing. There is simply no excuse for it,” Scott said in a Tuesday statement.

“Those involved should resign from their roles immediately and leave the Republican party – including Vermont State Senator Sam Douglass,” he added.

According to the Politico report, Vermont state Sen. Samuel Douglass (R) was one of the members of a Telegram chat that featured racist, antisemitic and violent discussions.

While prominent Democrats and Republican lawmakers alike expressed outrage over the appalling messages, Vice President JD Vance did not condemn the racist and misogynistic language allegedly used by the Young Republican leaders.

The Young White Nationalists is a more appropriate name for them.

Interesting thread coming from posters whose language here is Much more disgusting than The texts mentioned...
Yep......Dutch encourages LW people to murder Trump voters in their sleep or by overdosing them with drugs that can be slipped into their food all the time. He posts about it daily. NOT A PEEP from other lefties. Nothing. So,........to use one of their very own slogans,.." their silence is their CONSENT" says a lot about them. I mean,...that IS their own slogan and something they claim to believe In. Therefore that can only mean that all LW JPP board members believe that all Trump voters should be murdered. Sooooooo,....if that's how LWers across the country really feel, bring it then instead of just talking about it like a bunch of scared little pussies. But you wont,....we all KNOW that,...you wont because we both know how it will end for you. This is why I have no respect for them,.....they don't actually believe in much of anything nor will they actually ever back up their own words. Bunch of soft candy ass pussies. This is why they lose.......;):)

Like Hamas who used to threaten and brag about all the destruction they would reign down we all know it would end much the same way for the far left extremists in the United States. Probably much worse actually because in addition to our military and Law enforcement they would also have over half the country hunting them down like dogs. And BTW,....its the half of the country that has all the power, all the control, the arms and the know how and ability to actually use them in the right ways. To be blunt,......either do something or STFU before you get bitch slapped even harder than you already have. :)

The American LW's fate,........;)

This could just as easily be the ghetto's of Chicago. Even easier,...MUCH easier in fact,....Hamas unlike the ghetto actually kind of knew at least a little bit of what they were doing militarily and it still ended in rubble. ;)
