Chipping away at our rights

the liberals will wholeheartedly support this because they hate all the 'right wing militia' types since they won't meekly accept the statist agenda, then they'll have no choice but to accept it when there is a conservative congress and/or president because of their initial support.

This is how the government incrementally steals our rights and freedoms, with the naive and idiotic support of the partisan in this divided nation.

yeah...but if bush's admin had suggested this, there would be 20 threads about it on this board with liberals whining about bush stealing our freedoms and elections!!!!!

i get tired of the hypocrisy

and unfortunately the liberal hypocrisy hurts more...under bush, when stuff like this happened, the liberals and their media were in outrage, it was an effective or tried to be at times, check on the executive branch and what some saw as erosion of rights...

now that a lib is in office and one who many on the left (like yourself) deem to be messiah like, when erosion of rights occurs, the left and their media is silent...most of the right will be silent as they support this kind of intrusion of rights, some argue it necessary for a more secure nation and i sometimes agree

at least the right is being consistent, liberals like yourself are not. you would have wailed like a baby who just pooped his diapers if bush had suggested this, but since its from obama.....its all good
