Lefty socialist and mayoral frontrunner Zohran Mamdani’s campaign quietly took in nearly $13,000 in potentially illegal foreign donations — including one from his mother-in-law in Dubai, The Post has learned.

At least 170 of the nearly 54,000 contributions to the leading Democratic candidate’s campaign came from donors with addresses outside the United States, an examination of NYC Campaign Finance Board records found.

Only US citizens or permanent legal residents are allowed to contribute to political campaigns and political action committees under federal, state and city law, and candidates are expected to return any of the illegal donations. Violators who knowingly accept foreign donations could face hefty fines and imprisonment.

I guess we better stop supporting all candidates that receive questionable donations from overseas.

He received over 1,000 contributions from 150 donors who omitted key identifying details such as their city, state, address or country. I don't think it would. The republican is getting around 14%, Cuomo around 28%, meaning they'd be behind by 10 points if they got every single vote from the guy that quit. I don't know about you, but if I lived there I would not vote for a Democrat any more than I would vote for one living in Colorado. They will likely win every time, but it will not be because I settled for a Democrat.

Basically, if Cuomo drops out Mamdani wins by more against the republican. If the republican drops out, Mamdani still has 52% of the vote and those 14% voting for a republican aren't going to bandwagon on with Cuomo... I mean, the guy is still a leftist. One that killed grandma, but definitively leftist.

NYC means a Democrat will win. They're choosing a socialist.

Look at San Francisco. It's been like 35 year since we've elected (by San Francisco standards) a progressive Mayor. All Mayors are Democrats but align more with the moderate wing of the party.

I have no idea why Dems chose Cuomo as their establishment candidate.

San Francisco just elected a new very capable and moderate Democratic Mayor, and our City is seeing a big turnaround. NYC is choosing to go the other way.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A new Quinnipiac University poll released on Thursday afternoon shows that in the race for New York City mayor, Andrew Cuomo has made gains since Eric Adams dropped out of the race, but Zohran Mamdani still leads.

The poll found a three-way race shows 46% of likely voters support Mamdani, 33% support Cuomo, and 15% support Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa.


None of Sliwa's supporters would support the Communist...how many of Cuomo's would?

I got the latest poll numbers, Mamdani at 52%, Cuomo at 28%, and Sliwa at 14%... I used simple math to figure it from there, and remember... some of that 14% will never vote for a democrat, and from Cuomo almost none would vote for the republican. Mamdani is going to be the next mayor, we need to get used to it.
