A Fox News co-host offered a blistering take on President Donald Trump’s plans for a White House ballroom Thursday, suggesting that the controversy surrounding the project is being used to obscure the ways his administration is ignoring suffering Americans while the government is at a standstill.

Jessica Tarlov, a Democratic strategist who co-hosts “The Five” on Fox News, deemed the ballroom “a monstrosity,” noting it was “nothing like any of the other renovations” taken on by past presidents and “almost double the size of the White House itself.”

Still, she said she was using her airtime to shift the focus back to the government shutdown, now in its fourth week, as well as criticism over the president’s support for increasing low-tariff beef imports from Argentina to ease record beef prices in the U.S.

“Trump and [White House press secretary] Karoline Leavitt and the whole administration would rather that this is what we’re focused on, and it’s really getting away from the real stories of the moment,” Tarlov explained. “We are in the midst of a government shutdown. The Republican caucus from New Jersey wrote to Mike Johnson, saying, ‘You’ve got to make a short-term deal. Our constituents cannot handle these ACA premium hikes.’ Our farmers are losing their businesses. No soybeans coming out of America.”

She went on to note: “Those are the stories of what is happening in America today. That is how Donald Trump’s administration is hurting everyday Americans, most of whom voted for him.”

Fuck you asshole. You supported the assassination of your president so, fuck you!

The destruction of the white house is just another way MAGA is asserting itself. Their theme is, "We're going to do whatever the fuck we want". I think the contrast of trump enjoyed his gilded cage will not play well in rural areas when people stop affording food and healthcare.

"We're going to do whatever the fuck we want".
Yup,...and were going to keep doing it too. Whatever we feel like on any given day and there isn't a single thing you can do to stop us either,...do you know WHY? Because the left is and always has been made up primarily of a bunch of girlyman pussies,....that's why. You'll take what we give you and like it. Have fun eating our dust!

So sad, man. I've seen you devolve from a decent person into nothing but a pussy, a troll and a bully. Very sad for your missing soul.

It's a little hard to have a sense of humor over this, Stoney. We have masked, thugs with guns beholden NOT to Americans, but to a bunch of other thugs in our streets, and one of our most historic buildings is being demolished, without any input from the actual people who own it.

So, if I were you, I'd find something else to joke about. I assure you I have a great sense of humor, I just don't appreciate taunting.

I wonder if the rooftop of the new ball room will include air defense systems?

After the 911 jet airliner attacks, it would make sense to setup radars and surface to air missile systems. Possibly even directed energy weapons and high energy lasers.

There also may be a barracks for emergency escape helicopters and defensive troops.

Or we could speculate scifi far out, and say it will be a force field dome generator. The one we bought from the Altairians, by trading them to them the missing Biden 300K immigrant kids...

We will never be told of coarse, not until what is built this year is torn down for something better in 100 years.
