Honestly I think at this point they are so broken that they're just throwing haymakers in the hopes something lands. They aren't rational enough to think it through that far. They have 10 years of failed attempts to "get trump" and before it's all said and done it will be 14 years and nothing. They don't know what the hell else to do.
