Try to use your addled magat brain and tell us why we should care to give the Trump magats a deal to get the gov't running when their entire focus is shutting down services and funneling the money to the richest 1%.

A less stupid person realizes 'getting the gov't running' as Trump and Co gut it harming Red States more than anyone else, is not the goal and the goal is to use the leverage you got to get them to agree FIRST that they will stop gutting those key services.

Before the shut down Trump and Co were 'killing puppies daily'. They are 'killing puppies during the shutdown'. And what magats like you say is 'sign a deal that allows Trump and Co to keep killing puppies and that takes away all your leverage or we will keep gov't closed and keep killing puppies'.

The very FIRST principle of any deal making ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, is 'if you NEED my vote, you then have to put something on the table that also appeals to me... you need to make at least a minor bipartisan concession'.

If you stick your finger in the air and say 'fuck you get nothing... but give me your damn vote as we cannot do this on our own', that is then on your stupidity when you do not get it and you shoulder all the blame.

Last spring, well before the Schumer shutdown, the USDA cut $500 million in deliveries for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), not "Trump".
