Tired of waiting on feckless Demthugs to vote to serve Americans instead of themselves.

More Presidential leadership from Pres. Trump.

Donald Trump Says SNAP Benefits Will Be Solved For November

President Donald Trump has suggested his administration may find a way to fund Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits during the ongoing government shutdown.

Speaking on board Air Force One during his trip to Asia, Trump told reporters "we’re going to get it done," but offered no details on how it might happen.

Around 42 million low- and no-income Americans collect SNAP benefits every month, which are uploaded onto electronic benefit transfer cards to be used in grocery stores.

SNAP, although a mandatory program, is funded through appropriations from the federal government. As these funds have not been made available due to the lack of agreement in the Senate between Democrats and Republicans, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has confirmed that benefits cannot be paid. The government shutdown has now reached its 29th day, running since since October 1.

Awesome, I’m glad he tacoed on his earlier statement that he would not fund snap.

He must be feeling the heat on this shutdown.

Democrats called his bluff about not funding it, and he backed down.

I think its a good thing, looks like we will get a lot of what we needed, and the government will open.

TACO also TACOed on SNAP benefits.

I heard someone today suggest that we might be at the point of dysfunction were a President could ignore the courts and Congress and order the government open, order the bills to be paid.

I hope not.

Do the Dems cave today with this announcement? The President didn't...he cares about people...Democrats obviously don't...
They were excitedly posting and encouraging those who were going to steal groceries if their cards malfunctioned...;)
