Why do certain people flood forums?

I put in on ignore. Now I don't see his threads anymore. Nice!
I love the ignore feature on this software. The forum is a much better place w/o the spam, the trolling, and screams of LOOK AT MEEE!, the racists' filth, the hate, and rage. Well, I still get those last few from Toxic's dreck, but mostly I scroll on by that twat's posts and just drop off a barf. :rofl2:

Cue the bellowing of "Another thread is mine!"

Yep, very relieved by the reduction in truptard spam!

Legion is probably moderately intelligent, but he probably has way too much time on his hands. He may also be in need of some medicine updates.

He used to seem quite intelligent and humorous too, but when he returned most of that was gone. He'll stay on ignore because one needy nasty attention whore (see post below this one of yours I'm replying to) is more than enough for one forum. lol

People flood forums to rapidly spread information, express strong opinions, or disrupt conversations by overwhelming them with a high volume of posts. This can be for positive reasons like promoting a cause or negative reasons like spreading misinformation, creating chaos, or harassment. This tactic is also known as "flooding the zone" and can be used to sow distrust or overwhelm the opposition.
Reasons for flooding forums
Spreading information or opinion: A large number of posts can rapidly share information or a strong opinion with many people at once.
Spreading misinformation: Deliberately flooding a forum with false or conflicting information can confuse the audience and promote general distrust.
Disruption and chaos: Individuals, such as trolls, may flood forums for amusement or to deliberately disrupt a rival's activities or sow general chaos online.
Political or social manipulation: Flooding can be a tactic to polarize an audience or to "decapacitate public deliberation" by creating confusion and apathy, especially in contentious political discussions.
Hiding other content: Flooding can be used to bury genuine posts or discussions under a large volume of new messages.
Harassment and bullying: Flooding can be a form of cyberbullying, where a large number of posts are used to target an individual and cause them distress.
Infiltration: Sometimes, flooding is done to infiltrate an online community to gather information about its members or activities.

My take? Loneliness and no life.
Or programmed bots fulfilling their post quotas

That's a possibility.
Most of the intractable in the right in places like this are foreign disinformation bots

Actual humans show some shame, some embarrassment when they are so publicly outed

The real voters on the right just watch fox and wave flags

They are the voting cult

No time to actually investigate facts and have a true debate

These are not humans

That certainly is a possibility. But JPP is a small political forum site.
Doesn't matter to character and OP counters. 😆
Seriously, a guy that's now an admin at another site showed us all the stuff they expected him to do if he wanted to be a shill.
:rofl2:
He turned them down.
There's NDA's and you have to keep up a certain OP and character count. He showed us the contracts n stuff.
It's not pretty. :nono:
